    Good

by Lucia on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

I didn’t know what to expect as I had never been to a sing-a-long event but I did expect more than what my daughters and I experienced. I would have liked to see characters and the band didn’t stand out as much. I felt like we were basically just watching the movie at the amphitheater instead of at home. My daughters did have fun though mostly because the app which brought something to look forward to.

    Great Show

by Mémé on 7/27/22Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix

The show was great; my granddaughters loved it. Only drawback…the heat! I became extremely uncomfortable; even my CG was complaining for the last hour. I would think an inside venue should have been booked.

    Encanto concert

by Angie on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Please don’t waste your money. I literally paid $100 to just watch the movie on a big screen. Disney plus has it for free. Nothing special going on. Save your money.

    Disappointed

    by Jose on 7/27/22

My wife took my daughter for her birthday and it wasn't what we expected. We thought characters would come out, which none did. It was just a people playing the music live. My daughter wanted to leave within the few minutes the show started.

7:30 Start Time Too Late for Kids Under 10

by Underwhelmed Parent on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Loved the live band but starts way too late. More than half the stadium left at intermission at 9pm. Such a bummer to miss 1/2 the movie.

    Not what I expected

by Almfresa on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

I should have done more research on this event. It was basically an outdoor movie with a live band. It started at 7:30pm and ended at 9:30pm. I had to leave at intermission because my toddler (4yrs old) was tired. It was also on a Sunday evening so we had school the next day. Not the best for kids.

    Not worth the $$

by Madison on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

Kids had a little fun… however cannot believe we paid $400 for a movie. You could barely hear the orchestra and there were no characters or anything.. live nation did fine bc the concert barely sold any seats. If it was sold out live nation would be a disaster like usual.

THE BIGGEST RIPOFF EVER!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

    by Adrian on 7/27/22

This was awful!! A complete ripoff, SERIOUSLY DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! This is to expect just to watch a movie. You'll have a better time watching it at home!. This was just a movie on a big screen. Kids were so disappointed, took kids between 4-7 and they were ready to leave before intermission. They were soooo bored, i feel for them because I was so bored also....we ended up leaving early as well as many many other people. And worse, here in El Paso, Tx at the Plaza Theater they were not even selling food and they dont let food in either!! The Plaza Theater is the worst place for an event like this!!! Kids were crying and just frustrated. For the beginning of the event they have adults on the screen talking about how they do the movie....WHO CARES!!!! KIDS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN THAT!!! THE FIRST 20 MINUTES OF THE EVEN WAS JUST TALKING.....UGH!! THIS IS AN AWFUL EVENT, IF YOU HAVE TICKETS, GET RID OF THEM, SELL THEM OR SOMETHING....THIS IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!

    Horrible

Not what we expected and for the price to just go and watch the movie on a big screen. My little one was really disappointed

    Complete waste of money

by Ek on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

If we wanted to see something like this we couldve went to the drive-in movie. Poorly planned on a Sunday night at 730pm just to watch a movie. Disney couldve had characters there and done more, not to mention the worlds cheapest souvenirs for 35$-40 each. Save your money and put the movie on at home

    Disappointment

    by J. P. on 7/27/22

Our 5 year old daughter is a huge fan of Encanto. She was so looking forward to this event. She even got a special dress to go to the sing along. We were expecting characters or at least some live performance with a lead singer entertaining the crowd. All they had was an orchestra playing along with the songs of a big screen movie that we've watched dozens of times. This was completely not a kid event. Since when are kids entertained with an orchestra? This is a complete bummer, my daughter was crying all the way home of disappointment. Basically we paid almost $100 per person to watch the movie again. We were saddened, completely let down and my baby was disheartened.

    Disappointed

by Steph A on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

I think it was really overpriced for what it was. I was expecting a lot more then an outside showing of the movie and band. Yes the live music was nice but doesnt really cater to the kids. I had paid similar pricing for disney on ice and that was worth every penny.

Great sound; awesome experience and big a** screen!

by SAGER STUDIO on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

My daughter loved it; so we'd do it again. I enjoyed it as well. Very fun. Weird that only part of facility was opened. But the event was a 5 star.

    Such an Awesome Experience!

by Tammy S on 7/27/22North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre - Chula Vista

We had a blast at this event! It was so much fun to sing along and get into character and see one of our all time favorite Disney movies on the big screen outside! The Columbian band and hostess were awesome and the extras they showed from behind the scenes were great too!

    Horrible horrible

    by C. P. on 7/27/22

Horrible!!!! It was a rip off and could have been more than just a movie on a big screen with a bad. For that I could have seen the movie on Disney Plus!!!! I paid over 200 and not even worth it!!!

    Waste of money/time

    by M. S. on 7/27/22

No show just a band playing the background song while watching the movie. Save your self your money and do another activity with the kids. I regret not looking into this before purchasing the tickets since it did not have a description. Be aware there is no singer or show your just going to rewatch the movie for a much higher price than at the movies.

Basically over paid to watch the movie and have a band half heartedly play during the songs. If they really played couldn’t tell

NOT Suitable for outdoor experience in 110 weather in AZ!!

by Ballero Family on 7/26/22Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix

The kids were excited but most parents were frustrated. The event was at the AK CHIN Pavilion which is outside in Phx, AZ. Mind you, it was 110 degrees outside…even though the sun was already down. The music was okay, I guess we expected more. Let’s just say the movie had our kids attention more than the live music did. There were also zero Encanto characters at the event and not even any merchandise for the kids! Was not very impressed honestly. Not sure who in the world would think an outdoor event during the hottest time of year in ARIZONA would be a good idea for young families! I would rate our experience 2/5 stars.

    Disappointed

by GirlMom on 7/26/22Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix

I honestly expected more than just watching the movie again with subtitles and an interactive app! The live band was good but that was really all it was, not actually a concert. There were no characters or anything that made it feel like it was worth it. I basically paid $375 to watch the movie out in the heat, that I could have done in my backyard! Not what I expected at all. ☹️
