Australian electro-pop duo Empire of the Sun possess a well-proven ability to entertain. Known for their epic performances chock-full of production value and artistic flare, the band treated fans to one of the most exciting and synergistic concert experiences of the 2013 summer festival circuit. Accompanied on stage by a troupe of costumed dancers and state-of-the-art visuals, Empire of the Sun wowed ticket holders across the US and Europe with their energetic sets of danceable hits like "Alive" from 2013's Ice on the Dune.
Empire of the Sun began as the side project of musicians Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson and Nick Littlemore of Pnau. With the success of their 2008 debut album Walking on a Dream, the project became a focal point for the duo, resulting in their first live performances as a band in 2009. In 2013, their sophomore album Ice on the Dune reached No. 3 in Australia and No. 20 on the US Billboard 200, with lead single "Alive" receiving the remix treatment by some of the world's top DJs including David Guetta, Zedd and DJ Tiesto. With their electrifying performance style, adrenalized synths, and electro beats, the duo is not afraid to push the limits of showmanship, leaving fans eager for their 2014 performances.

Front row & VIP exp; it was worth every penny! I’d see this show again and again! High production quality, get set list and stunning visuals. Even if you don’t know this band, they are entertaining and very enjoyable!
Saw them innaugurate CRSSD fest here in San Diego 2015, late to the party I’ve been chasing the buzz of this band ever since. With Bob Moses at X-Fest after and then the vest show of my 58 years… last May at Cercle Odyssey in LA? That blew our kids… we cried afterwards. Can’t really explain how good they are without being there yourself. Justice? Tame Impala? Daft Punk? You can’t say you’ve seen the best EDM in the world if you haven’t seen all 4 of these bands but for real? EOTS is filling stadiums around the world because they are simply? THE BEST. Always positive. Always reinventing always pushing the end of imagination. At Cercle those looked like holograms at first and when they actually started moving? Minds blown! No one … and I mean NO ONE is doing ehat this band is doing with stage, light, sound and costuming.saw them again in San Diego last night for the 10th anniversary of CRSSD and yeah. They still got it. I hope they don’t burn out. UNESCO should declare them a global treasure. Some day? I’ll shake Luke and Littlemore and say thanks, glad I stuck around on this rock long enough to see the best band ever. We love you Empire of the Sun!!!💙🩵💙🩵
They put on such a performance. Mind blowing. EOTS makes such beautiful music & they go all out with their live performances.

The lead singer even came down and clapped hands with those of us in the front. Their music got the whole GSR crowd singing along with their most popular songs.

Empire Of The Sun-is an amazing band!! The only problem was the venue stage at The Fillmore in Philadelphia. The stage is too low. Missed half the show from my GA spot. If I ever consider going back I would definitely have to purchase VIP tickets (seats).

I’ve been a huge EOTS fan for years and was so excited to see that they would be playing close to home. I attended the show in DC and it was phenomenal. They put on an amazing show, the visuals, art, music- it’s all a really fun and artistic show. I want to go again!
