This event was a one-of-a-kind and such a fantastic and classy time. The setlist was almost perfect, I wished it was longer! They explained how and why they chose each song, so it got personal in that manner. I’m an emotional person, so I’m not surprised that some of the songs brought tears to my eyes. Intermission was a plus! I highly recommend catching this show.
This show is a wonderful experience for an elder emo like myself. All the hits with an orchestra is a fantastic idea. Would go again 100%.
Hawthorne Heights was great covering the most notable songs of the Emo genre and did them a great honor. Band and orchestra were very social which gave the whole event a very family-reunion vibe. It was a pleasure to attend and I haven't stopped telling people about it!
It was my birthday weekend (37!) and I last minute decided to attend this show solo and I’m so glad I did. It gave me all the high school and college flashbacks with the grown-up luxury of getting boss seats and merch and a $13 hard cider. The set was solid, despite the noticeable lack of Dashboard Confessional songs. Loved the “singalong” atmosphere, relaxed vibe the sense of community. It was so cool to see former emo kids - a lot of whom broke out some excellent themed outfits.
I went to about 8 concerts this summer, and hands down this was one of the best shows I've ever been to! Every song they sang came with a personal story that made you feel involved. Hoping and praying they do this again!!!!
Such a great show. It felt more personable with so much to learn about other bands and songs. The orchestra really brought this show to life and it was just beautifully put together. I wish more bands would do this and I hope this becomes a frequent thing for Hawthorne Heights to do. This show was great for all ages. I was fortunate to attend with my 14 year old, who loved the show as well.
Had the BEST time with great people! Hawthorne killed at as per usual, but this was a whooole new level with the emo orchestra and getting to hear other bands along with HH. Love love love.
Absolutely loved the Emo Orchestra show. It was a wonderfully delightful way to experience this genre of music.
Hawthorne Heights, with the Emo Orchestra, put on a great show. They played a ton of awesome covers along with several of their own songs.
Emo Orchestra was the best night ever!!! Went into it not knowing what to expect and it has exceeded my expectations. The orchestra and Hawthorne Heights delivered incredible performances, I never wanted the night to end! Great songs and a memorable night. Every emo needs to experience this! I already want to go again !!
This was the most fun I've had in a long time. My little black heart couldn't stop screaming and dancing to all the nostalgic sounds. I definitely felt like a sophisticated elder emo The orchestra was amazing! 🖤🖤🖤
This was an amazing show. It was appropriate for all ages. The orchestra was phenomenal and Hawthorn Heights blew my mind. Even though it was a fairly large venue, it felt very intimate. JT spoke to the crowd throughout the show and even went to the lobby after the show to sign autographs. I’d definitely go to this show again.
Show exceeded all expectations, haven't had that much fun in years. The symphony killed it and the mix of songs the band played was perfect. If emo is your jam you should definitely check it out
It was a magical night! I loved it and hope it becomes a recurring event.
They picked great songs to sing, but for something called Emo Orchestra you could barely hear the orchestra. We could only hear them when they did one song without the band and then another song that had more acoustic guitars. I also felt like the Hawthorne Heights singer was awful and his guitar players sounded better than him. The only song that was sung well was when they brought someone else onstage to sing it. We basically paid to see a bad cover band do emo songs with the orchestra just sitting behind them and not being heard. Would not recommend
The performance was amazing I'm definitely hope they come back and do the performance again
I wasn't sure what to expect buying tickets to them Emo Orchestra with hawthorne heights but it blew my expectations out of the water. It was amazing hearing them put their own spin on some of my favorite songs. We will definitely go next year if they tour again!
It was amazing! This was like a happy love note to my inner 12 year to let them know they still loved us! The nostalgia almost made me cry! I'm pretty sure all of us were a bit emotional, no pun intended, during the concert. It was beautiful.
It was an amazing experience. They played some beautiful songs from my youth and added an adult twitch to it. I would encourage anyone who still has a little emo soul hiding in them to check out this show. It is worth your time.
