  • Best Show Ever

Emo Night Karaoke is amazing! The band is fantastic, they kept it moving and really make it a fun event.

  • The overall experience

by Chris on 10/15/24The Masquerade - Hell - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely enjoyed my time over there. The set up was awesome. Also, my first time doing karaoke and singing in front of people. I sang "Miss Murder"by AFI. I really had a loads of fun and want people to do more singing. The only thing, I had a issue was with the set list of songs. They had a limited amount of songs. I do wish they had more songs by different songs and including more artists like Falling in Reverse, Marilyn Manson, Trapt, Queen of the Stone Age, Ice Nine Kills, Stabbing Westward, and Motionless in White. Being down at The Masquerade was a great time and great venue. They found the right spot and please keep it on Saturdays. The right amount of people and great amount of family and great prices. I really did enjoy it.

by nick on 4/15/24House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 3 out of 5

time management was awful and only a fraction of people who signed up even got to perform. people who did sing did great and overall it was fun, but i def wouldnt have spent an hour and a half in a sign up line if i knew i wouldnt even get to sing.

  • ACTUALLY AMAZING TIME

by Kenz on 4/6/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Whether you can sing or not, getting up there and just vibing is an amazing experience!!! It’s like a real concert with the band behind you and the crowd singing along to every word of the song!! They go wild, and it just feels like a place anyone can feel like a star for a bit!! 10000000/10 will do again

  • This is how church is supposed to feel.

The largest amount of positive energy ever found in one room - that is the emo night karaoke experience. Every stranger in the crowd wants to see you do well up there on the stage. Everyone is so supportive, kind, and friendly. They will cheer like crazy for their favorite songs and even the ones they don’t know, they will go nuts whether you give the performance of a lifetime or totally butcher a song, because it’s not about talent, it’s about fun and enthusiasm. Don’t be afraid to pull out your tripp pants, band tees and invader zim merch from the back of the closet and dust them off because this is truly a place where cringe does not exist and everyone is a potential friend. I’ve been to multiple karaoke nights in different locations around PA and DE and the crowd is always this level of awesome. Don’t be surprised if you walk away having exchanged instas after hitting it off with a few cool folks - it happens! (Yes you CAN make friends after 25) It’s still introvert friendly - even if you hang at the bar or sitting in the corner all night you will have a great time just picking up on the positive vibes and listening to the band play perfect cover after perfect cover. Needless to say the musicians are just incredible, so much respect to those guys for the amount of skill and endurance they display playing nonstop four-hour sets like this. Anyway, if you are at all on the fence about going, this is your sign to buy a ticket and try it! 😁

  • Earlier start time needed

by SC on 11/21/23Mercury Lounge - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

I've done this event twice before in Charlotte, NC and had a great time. The venue in Charlotte started at 7pm, which also allowed for the band to do a small set of their original songs before starting the actual event. The NY show did not start until 9pm, and there was a huge line before doors opened. The band didn't do a personal set, but the show overall ended completely at midnight on the dot. If I had known I wouldn't get to sing at all after being there for 3 hours, I wouldn't have bothered paying for a ticket at all. No idea why the NY show started so late only to end so early. I was born and raised in NY and lived there most of my life, I've never seen a NYC event end so early especially considering the high volume of people. Very disappointed in this event and if they ever go back to NYC (which I won't attend ever again anyways), I hope they'll start the event much earlier to actually give participants time to go onstage as that's REALLY what the event is about. It's supposed to allow us regular people the chance to feel like a star for a night, but instead it was a rushed hectic lackluster experience. The band itself was great, but just avoid this venue I suppose. This year and last year's events that I attended in NC were far better organized.

  • Good

by Missy on 10/18/23The Queen - WilmingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Drinks were good, music wasn't bad at all. Good participation. Venue was clean.

  • SO MUCH FUN!

by Fe on 10/17/23The Queen - WilmingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I had such a great time! The band was great, the list of songs available was awesome and the crowd was nice and respectful. Made the environment very safe for ANYONE that wanted to go up on the stage and sing.

  • Awesome Night

by Triona on 10/10/23Majestic Theatre - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

Bug Moment SLAYED, karaoke was awesome, generally great vibes and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

  • Overpriced… oh, it’s Ticketmaster

by Roman on 6/27/23House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 1 out of 5

Yeah, if you want to sing get there at least 1 hour and a half earlier. Otherwise, you’ll just make an hour long line to not sing and buy overpriced drinks. It really sucks. The band was awesome though.

  • Not great

by M on 6/26/23House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 2 out of 5

Anyone on stage (bands included) were having a better time than anyone else. I paid $20 to be mildly entertained for a few hours. I also wasn’t allowed to leave the event and come back in. After two hours of bands I don’t know and then another 40 mins of some of the worst karaoke possible I left and when to a better emo event that happened to be going on at the same time.

  • Emo is not dead

by Alex&Iris on 6/26/23House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the best emo night yet. House of Blues is so well run and the crowd came to be part of a memorable experience. I took amazing photos from the balcony of many singers. My girlfriend gave an energetic performance of the black parade. We made new friends that night.

  • The night was cut short.

by Britt on 4/25/23The Queen - WilmingtonRating: 2 out of 5

Doors opened at 8 for signups. Karaoke started around 8:45 and abruptly ended at 11pm sharp. They didn’t even play half the songs. I’m not sure if the venue cut them short, but no where on the ticket or the event page said that they would end at 11. It was so disappointing. We were having a great time until they cut it so short.

  • Late start?

by Alliecat on 4/25/23The Queen - WilmingtonRating: 4 out of 5

The whole thing from the music, the song selections, and the energy was fantastic. However, if the dots opened at 7, and it started at 8, then why weren't we allowed to pick our song between 7 and 8? Why make everyone wait until 8 to pick songs and then actually start at 9?

  • Spacious and Friendly

by Emb on 11/7/22The Underground - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

The atmosphere was very friendly and accepting. And there was room to move around if you needed to. Easy to see the stage and the sound was perfect

  • Fun Night!

by Ryan on 10/18/22Mercury Lounge - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Great night, but there was zero explanation as to how to sign up to sing. Maybe it’s assumed or this crowd are regulars but it would be awesome if the band could give some instructions on how to sign up next time! We didn’t figure it out until we were leaving.

  • Feel like a rock star

by Jake on 10/18/22Mercury Lounge - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

If you are an emo fan… or even if you are not you know some of the songs. It is like that rock star fantasy you had as a kid but instead of a hair brush you have a mic and a kickass band behind you. Not to mention the screaming audience giving you all the love and support. If they are in your area GO!!!! You won’t regret it.
