Before embarking on her own successful solo career, the immense talents of Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé were tapped by such artists as Professor Green, Devlin and Solange Knowles for whom she made guest vocal appearances in the recording studio and on stage. What’s more, the talented Ms. Sandé also penned tunes for the likes of Rihanna, Leona Lewis and Cheryl Cole. The whole world took notice, however, when Emeli performed showstopping solo performances at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympics. Now, it’s her time in the spotlight, as her eclectic jazz-soul pop hits like “Daddy,” “Heaven,” and “Next to Me” made huge waves in Europe and the States, and her concerts showcasing her powerful voice and skills on the keys have fans clamoring for tickets to catch her on tour. Her debut album Our Version of Events became the U.K.’s top-selling album in 2012, and in that same year, she took home Brit Awards for Album of the Year and Female Solo Artist. Emeli Sandé names musical greats such as Joni Mitchell and Nina Simone as major influences, while her own music has been compared to Alicia Keys, Adele, Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars.
Truly the best performer I have seen! Luv u Emeli!
This concert was amazing!! I knew Emeli Sande could sing but damnnnn! Her voice was out of this world! I hope she drops her next album soon and pays Baltimore a visit. And usually I get annoyed by opening acts in concerts but her opening acts were just as good as she was. The duo right before Emeli went on had me laughing and crying at the same time-- Beautiful couple with amazing voices.
A voice that is fresh and new Emeli is on her way to big things.
Absolutely one of the best shows I have seen. Truly, truly talented artist.

It was great !! I really had a great time and Emelie Sande was amazing !!!!
I was in awe of her fabulous voice - note perfect all the way through. I hope she comes back to the US soon. Also loved the two support bands as well, both well suited to the night.
She is incredible. Very few artist sound as good as (if not better than) their album and she is one of them. GO SEE HER!
Emeli is even better live than on her album. Incredible show.
Emeli iis amazing. Her voice live sounded just like on her album. Great performance.
Emelie looked and sounded great in her Miami Beach debut! She is a true entertainer and accomplished musician!
This was my first time seeing Emeli and I knew she would be great! But what surprised me was her opening act Rudimental were amazing as well. Even though it was raining I still had an amazing time. Plus the rain let up for the most part. Would def go see her again!
I must say if I could relive this event I would. She is truly a great performer. The opening act started the night on a great note as well but she truly amazed me and I will surely look forward to many more performances she has set in the future.
Amazing and breath taking. I was in total awww the entire performance. I would love to see her in concert again.
Refreshing music - it was an outstanding and uplifting live performance.
The concert was so great! The opening act rudimental was amazing and then emeli stole the show with her powerful and beautiful voice! It was also a really fun atmosphere.
Emeli was on fire on Wednesday. She's amazing live and I can't want to see her again. She's incredible and I recommend her to anyone and everyone.
Despite the hour long wait in the drizzling rain, Emeli Sande was terrific. She got on stage and owned it. Performing nearly all of the tracks on her album, she left me completely satisfied. Love her, love her voice, love her stage presence! She's very engaging and I liked that she told the audience the title of the song before she sang it (for new fans not familiar with her tracks maybe?)
