  • Worst Elvis impersonators I ever saw.

by LempeKujampa on 1/16/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 1 out of 5

These were 2 of the worst Elvis impersonators I ever saw. The first act whose name I don't want to remember was absolutely awful. He couldn't sing or dance. The second act was almost as bad as the first. His voice was over shadowed by his back-up band. Awful experience. I wouldn't see either of them again even it were for free. People sitting around us felt the same way.

  • Nostalgia Elvis 50's and 70's Music Rocks

by Anonymous on 1/16/17Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

The Elvis Birthday Bash was a good concert for me to attend. For singers like Mike Bruce doing the 50's Elvis and Mike Albert doing the 70's Elvis, they both did a fantastic job performing Elvis Presley's music. I had a good time and enjoyed the show.

Performers did a great job! Both performers were talented, and put a lot of effort in to connect with the fans, and entertain.

  • Elbvis Birthday Bash-VooDoo Lounge

by GreatGP on 1/6/14VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

A really great show. Kilroy did it again!! I have personal contact with several of the ETA's and am a member of a Elvis fan club: Stuck On Elvis, located in Independence, MO.

  • Jeff Bergen was stellar once again.

by FriendMark on 1/6/14VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Jeff Bergen laid it out their once again. The group I was with had a great time once again. I am already looking for the next Elvis Bash.

  • One Elvis was awesome

by longtimeElvisfan on 1/4/13Voodoo lounge - North Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

I saw this show last year and I didn't know it was to be a contest, either. Additionally, some of those guys were pretty bad. However, the MC was absolutely the best. We went on to Knuckleheads to see more Elvi and he was there. Awesome. I hope this year's show is better than last year's show.

  • A real let down from last years show

by ml7709 on 1/17/12VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

I was dissapointed this year as the concert turned out to be a contest, featuring pretty untalented Elvis impersonators. There were a few preformaces from ones that were there last year, and the guy who won the contest was good....but i was overall pretty disappointed. The same show last January was incredible, featuring very talented performers. I wish they had just stuck with that formula. I feel like I wasted my money. The concert wasn't advertised as a contest on ticketmaster and I don't see why they changed the format of the show.

  • What a fun way to spend the afternoon!!!

by SherriSunshine on 1/9/12VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 4 out of 5

Really fun entertainers and great music!! They played a great list of Elvis songs, we really got a good laugh too, a lot of work goes into an impersonation such as that.

I love Elvis, but only two of these contestants were decent. Rich Vickers made the show worth seeing.

  • misleading! not the birthday bash from last year

by jazzmc on 1/9/12VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

I was so dissappointed when I got there and realized that this was not the "birthday bash". I went to it last year and had a blast! I get there this time and it was an elvis competition. Which turned out ok however, the birthday bash was sunday. This makes no since to me due to the price increase for the tickets.Ended up enjoying ourselves. But I was really looking forward to the birthday bash.

  • ELVIS WAS IN THE BUILDING

by SPYDERMURFEE on 1/17/11Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

this was my first show at the Keswick theatre and what an amazing show. I bought the tickets for my sister as a birthday gift she loved the show. We are already planning on attending next years show. Elvis young and Elvis older two excellent entertainers. Both Elvis' have fantastic voices along with an excellent band and back up vocals. Both entertainers involved the audience in the show. There isn't a bad seat in the house and the ushers and bartenders were very pleasant and willing to help everyone.

  • Elvis Birthday Bash

by Jimmiemac on 1/17/11Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 4 out of 5

We had a very enjoyable evening at the Keswick. The two performers were excellent in portraying both the early Elvis years and songs as well as his later years. Plan to go again next year!

  • Fantastic tribute to the King of Rock & Roll

    by RB44 on 1/16/11Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

Scott Bruce and Mike Albert did a great job portraying the King as a young talented singer and as an older entertainer in Vegas. Audience interaction was great and overall it was a great experience.

  • by Anonymous on 1/10/11VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great show. My ticket did not get in my mail until day after, but they provided a replacement at Harrah's. All the performers were marvelous. Especially enjoyed Rick V. add Frank W.

  • Elvis Birthday Bash--Average

by Gramps4 on 1/9/11VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

Compared to last year's, this was not as good. The sound system was really poor (the band drowned out the singers). Only two of the singers were good, Rich Vickers and E-Rock. The othera should not come back (they can't sing that good). Both Vickers and E-Rock spend time presenting their music well to an audience. The others were too busy dancing around too much, handing out their scarves. The person making the announcements between each performer was not as good as last year. Overall, hope they take a good hard look at the performers they choose for next year or they may not have a good turnout.

  • Elvis Birthday Bash is a blast

by MrsKR on 1/9/11VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

Enjoyable evening out. The ETA's all did a fantastic job and so did the Heartbreak Hotel Band. The music and personality/stage presence of each was a fabulous tribute as well as a great evening of entertainment!

Thought it lasted too long. Could have done without the guest singer. Have each Elivs artist sing only 2 songs at a time then go on to the next singer and so on. 4 or 5 songs from each singer is too much at a time. Really like the Voodoo lounge for this type of event. Wish Michael D. had been there but it was a good show all around. Have all the Elvis artists sing together at the end. I know this is a problem but please keep the ladies away from the stage-the people have a hard time seeing the performers because these women won`t sit down. Everyone pays for a ticket and should be able to see the show.. keep security guards up front to control these wild women. Thanks Jim Kilroy for keeping Elvis music alive!
