ELIO, aka Charlotte Grace Victoria, is a master of her craft, producing intricately detailed songs from her bedroom, which speak to her generation and their shared experience of loneliness, often played out for strangers to follow online.     I really like Elio’s music. I felt like in her performance, there was an aura of “I don’t really care.” I kept thinking this is a 4-show tour starting in LA…I wanted more excitement, humility, something! Instead, the backtrack was so loud and auto tune turned all the way up, that it was difficult to enjoy even if I liked the songs when I’d listen to them (not live). It was hard to tell if auto tune was her choice or the producers, but either way, it tainted the experience for me and others around me in the audience.

    I’ve been a fan of ELIO’s music before the show but never got to hear her live! She set off a stunning high-energy performance especially with her album released just the day before. Hope she makes it big because she killed it!
