Eliane Elias Tickets

Eliane Elias is better than ever! This is our third time seeing her and it was fantastic! No one sings Samba like Eliane. One of the things I've always enjoyed about her is how she'll tell a story before each song giving you the origin. It adds so much feeling to each song. Her energy is amazing.

Eliane embodies the great tradition of Brazilian music. She comes across as family of the great masters she respectfully brings into sets flawlessly executed that is priceless making for an exceptional night at Broward Center's Amaturo Theater. Good mark! Keep them coming.

Excellent performance with emphasis on songs of Brazilian and Latin American composers. There was more singing than I anticipated.Good connection with audience and discussion of the music origin. Would have enjoyed a few more straight musical numbers and some of American origin. Rendition of Embraceable You was outstanding. Terrific Steinway concert grand. Enthusiastic audience reception ending with standing ovation.

The Eliane Elias trio was simply fantastic. The artistry of the players and their mastery of their instruments was a joy to witness. The set list was beautiful and the stories she related about the songs made the audience more intimate with the performers. I loved the show and only wish that she comes back soon to bless us with her music and with their presence in Broward County.

She's wonderful but I felt that she could have sung more it seemed that she let the band perform more than her. I like her sexy way of singing but could have picked other songs that were more inviting. Overall it was ok because I am a fan but it could have been better!

I traveled four hours to see her, the folks seated in back of me, five; and the guy next to them nine. as always she;s the best around. She seems to love her audiences. The Broward Center ushers, and lack of enforcement of cell phone picture takers is sad. Worse, there was a guy with a camera over two feet long, the shoulder style, standing in the lobby for half an hour before the performance. The ushers let him in. Eliane stopped to the performance, did a Petti Lupone, questioning him whether takinf the video was in the contract, several times. He left. Combined with my having to tell the people next to put their cell phones away because taking pictures is illegal, and the phones were distracting me. Agony.

I've been to this theater and performed here myself. I absolutely love the setting. It's like being in a fancy private home, meaning it is intimate and inviting. The audio engineer although could have improved her microphone sound quality by using a little less reverb. I'm a college graduate of music in the focus of commercial music technology, I feel I can weigh in on this subject matter as a pro myself.

OK, so I was already a fan with over 20 of her CD's in my collection, but hearing her live was an inspiring experience. Hew musicianship is incredible and her transference of emotion to the piano is awe inducing. Marc Johnson (bass), & Mauricio Zottarelli (drums) , who have played with Eliane for years were outstanding in their own performances.

Despite playing without their bass player, Eliane Elias and band were spectacular! I often found my foot tapping throughout the concert and enjoyed the mixture of slow and fast pieces.

the concert was great. she was fantastic at the stage. I only recommend to have a little bit of more space in between the tables. It was a little tight.
