About

Elevation Worship in Concert

Blending styles of rock, EDM, Christian pop, and traditional worship, Elevation Worship has become one of the most beloved groups of their kind in contemporary music. Based in 2007 out of Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, the band leads worship in church on weekends and also plays concerts across the U.S. Prior to having a deal in place, Elevation Worship released four albums including their 2010 breakthrough ‘Kingdom Come,' which would reach No. 5 on the U.S. Heatseekers Albums and No. 17 on the U.S. Christian Albums charts. After the levee of recognition broke, the group signed to Essential Records and released live album ‘For the Honor' in 2011, which received acclaim from Christian music reviewers. Elevation Worship showcased not only that their anthemic tunes soared, but that the live setting is a natural habitat, showcasing true ability to command a crowd with memorable melodies and shimmering guitars. ‘For the Honor' also became their first album to chart on the U.S. Billboard 200, reaching No. 193., and reaching No. 1 on U.S. Heatseekers.

‘Nothing Is Wasted,' another live record from 2013, would become the band's first No. 1 album on the U.S. Christian Albums chart, and would reach No. 41 on the U.S. Billboard 200, the band's highest ranking to date. As it turned out, their live albums — often recorded in front of crowds upwards of 16,000 people — were Elevation Worship's sweet spot. With their 2016 massive hit single "O Come to the Altar," the band made it to No. 2 on both the U.S. Christian and Christian Airplay singles charts on Billboard. The following year, Elevation Worship's ‘There Is a Cloud' was nominated for the Gospel Music Association's Dove Award in the Worship Album of the Year and Long Form Video of the Year categories. It was also nominated for Top Christian Album at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

    Very uplifiting

Very uplifting performance. Singing was exceptional and the worship seemed to be genuine and faith-filled. However, I didn't really appreciate the segment on 'World Vision'...although I understand the purpose of it...especially with a Christian audience. We donate to many different entities already. We paid for song and worship...just a bit surprised about the 'commercial break' of asking for money.

Elevation Worship: The Lord was in the 6ix!

by DanyellFernandez on 10/19/18Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

On the 16th of October I was blessed to see Elevation Worship and Travis Greene at the Coca-Cola Coliseum. I am still on a spiritual high. That was the best concert I have ever been too. The presence of God was in that place! Pastor Steven Furtick was there as well and gave a powerful sermon. It was an honour to praise and worship with people from all walks of life. Elevation Worship and Travis Greene were LIT! Their performances were spectacular. I will diffidently will be seeing them again when they come to Toronto. I recommend anyone whether you are a believer or not to experience the presence of the Lord when Elevation Worship and Travis Greene preform. An amazing night! God Bless!
