Electric Six Tickets

Andyd rocked everyone's world. He has so much energy and so few reservations. He definitely won some fans that night. The Constellations were the most relaxed band and they were a very nice ensemble. They had things that were funky, soulful, and chaotic all in one show. The Electric Six might have had the least energy of the night, but their star power was apparent. They were crowd pleasers and the lead singer was an involved showman, cracking jokes and interacting with the crowd.

Electric Six is a great concert to go to if you want to have a fun night out with your friends. We went as a group to celebrate birthdays, and we couldn't have had a better time! The opening acts were fantastic, and all the bands provided a fun-loving atmosphere where I could dance and drink and have a blast. They were personable, and for that I am thankful.

Electric Six at the Grog Shop was an insane show in a wonderfully intimate setting. The three bands preceding Electric Six ranged from alright (Fawn) to amazing (The Constellations) and did a great job of getting the crowd pumped to see Electric Six (I'm sure the ample amounts of Pabst Blue Ribbon didn't hurt either...). There were a lot of drunkards getting into mosh pits which, at first, was frightening, then exhilarating. Once Electric Six started playing some tunes familiar to everyone at the show (like Gay Bar), the whole place erupted into ecstasy. The venue was small, but it was great because of the intimate feel. I was even able to touch members of the bands they were so close. Not only were the bands close during their performances, but afterwords almost all of the performers could be met out on the floor walking around and talking to everyone who stayed. All in all, it was an incredible show.

Bouncy, naughty, rowdy, energy....Electric Six is always a ton of fun!! They played quite a bit of their new album, it's as good as the rest of them. Paired with The Constellations, the night was a perfect capsule of party music to dance to. Super fun!

They played an extended set that was marvelous. The show was high in energy and the music was excellent. I will definitely be going to any more of their shows that pop up in this area.

great show. shit box jimmy and the constellations were fantastic opening bands. they could've done without fawn (they were awful) but the opening bands made the 1.5 hour wait for *anything* to start seem a little better. electric six was incredible. would definitely go see again.

I thought the band did a great job. They were talented and entertaining. However, I am disappointed in the lack of security. I was being mauled by a drunk/high guy on the floor and apparently no one else cared. I couldn't fully enjoy the show because I was worried about the safety of my nose ( I can't help it these men were huge!). Plus the concert took forever to get started. I assumed it would start at 9, not 10:30 or however late it actually was. Guess I'm a party pooper.

Good show. Lead man is funny, music was nice and loud. Only downside? They didn't speak any Detroit love. As an away-from-home detroiter, I was disappointed by that.

Excellent! Always a good show with Electric Six, never been disappointed!! And the Culture Room is a small, intimate and excellent venue!!!

Awesome. Blond fuzz was easily forgetable, but the constellations were great. Electric six rocked.

The Bowery Ballroom was one of the best club venues I've been to, from the between-set tracks picked by the DJ to the lighting and architecture, and the bands that filled the space were well-chosen to play the same stage. Fake Problems delivered decent rock riffs that seemed to flirt with punk and post-hardcore in their style, while delivering a vocal intensity that I haven't seen in a while, and The Constellations and Electric Six exceeded my expectations, even given that Electric six is one of my favorite bands and I could sing along to every song. They threw a party in the purest sense of the word, and as we danced on that dance floor, there were no politicians or celebrities to put us down. The most charisma I have seen in an entire band act in a long time, and a good sense of comedic timing to boot.

This is my second E-6 concert and again they rocked the house. This time, they had two great opening acts with them - "Fake Problems" and "The Constilations". All extremely impressive. Venue worked well for us and it was a great evening out. I'm sure I will not be disappointed in watching another 6-six concert. Great job guys.

Electric Six, a pre-bailout phenomenon from Detroit, launched their three month "Rent is Too Damn High" tour in Grand Rapids, MI on September 15th, 2010. Their blend of rock, disco, and r&b with hip hop sensibilities has been a huge hit in the right circles for some time. They are very genuine, unique, and creative. Between Dick Valentine's stage antics and the musical prowess of the group as a whole, a night with E6 is a very pleasing and entertaining experience.. filled with a dirty danger that is hard to find anywhere else. I highly recommend an Electric Six show anywhere to anyone looking for something new.

great show, strong performance, electrifying overall

Electric Six is fantastic, so high energy - it will not disappoint! Dick Valentine is a fabulous front man being sure to entertain you with his wit just as much as his awesome vocals! If you like rock music and great live bands you owe it to yourself to check out Electric Six!

You haven't seen them? Are you effing kidding me? You must see Electric Six. I have seen them 2 times at First Ave in MPLS, and will go again this November. There is so much energy, Amazing guitar, the music MAKES you move. Love love love the guitars... everybodys doin what they SHOULD be doin. The lyrics are pleasingly witty, and the crowd is a good mix of every kind of human being you can think of, maybe a few more gay guys than other shows, but they make it even more fun. Opening bands were awesome. Wanted to enjoy the Electric Six show, but the Grog Shop crowd decided that an all-out mosh pit was necessary, so instead of watching them play, I was forced to have sweaty druk tattooed men bounce off of my chest all night to the tune of "Gay Bar."

It was tottally awesome, i would highly reccomend it to anyone.
