We loved the music and the atmosphere at Electric Feels, and we had such a fun time. We would definitely go back again!
Great concept, poor execution. Sound quality was horrible (not a venue issue), mixing was worse. Left the event after an hour when it was not getting better.
This reminded me of being in a club, except the club was full of only ok mixes catering to a crowd that isn’t quite old enough to get into a club. Expensive drinks and a hefty cover for what it was.
The venue was nice and there was a good amount of people who attended. However the Dj played majority of what he was interested rather keeping it “ indie rock “ as advertised. There was maybe 3-4 songs that night that classified as that category. However, extremely disappointed with the music.
The event was great , people were really enjoying the music and vibe was just great. Better speakers would be nice 😅
I have Never danced so hard in my life. Set list was amazing. At the end the two DJs went head to head and you could even see the love between them. It was beautiful.
My first live concert! An amazing dj set, the energy was there! World record for most crowd surfs 😂 lovely venue to just come and vibe with the people around you, and hit every dance move in the book! 😂 Wonderful time, will be coming back!!
Pros: Cheap event, nice venue Cons: Bad DJ who couldn't escalate the pace of the songs he was mixing, it was so boring that I left after only 2 hours.
Since the crowd's energy isn't totally in the event's control I'll just avoid that subject, but firstly the event opened at 9 and there was nothing happening besides music playing until 10. The music that played during that time frame was not indie rock at all. I'd assume this was not the people hosting the event's decision but just the house of blues making up for the people hosting the event. At around 10, there was a DJ that came out and did a pretty good job but again it was maybe 50% indie rock, which is good enough. They usually have one DJ all night which I think is a good thing but they did bring out a special guest for this one, although it felt like the whole time the original DJ was just saving the hits for the guest DJ. In the end there was only a couple of songs that really got everybody moving and it was always the music and not the DJ that brought the energy. It was also quite apparant that the photographer was waiting for any little burst of energy that was set up by the DJ to get a video. I still enjoyed myself plenty but it could have been so much better.
Pretty organized venue location, the event itself it always a good time and the crowd is always great, this is my second time going and I’m planning on making it an annual event with my friends!
Absolutely amazing experience, would recommend for anyone who appreciates good music and good vibes!!
Can’t wait for the next time the event comes back to the area so I can buy my ticket as soon as possible
I had the most amazing night at Electric Feels. We stayed the entire night. The DJ and crowd were amazing.
Not what I expected… this concert was advertised as an alternative mix. Like any millennial or Z lineal I expected to feel some nostalgia, no different than scrolling through my Tumblr. But the music just was not up to theme… Like why would you play harry styles? This event is definitely for highschoolers. Also to the DJ, coming on stage at 9:30 when the doors opened at 8 was very rude
I got to the venue early. No issues checking in. Music was good and staff of the venue was friendly. I'd recommend checking this party out if you get the opportunity. I'll definitely return if the have another dance party in town.
No classic indie songs were played. Definitely not a vibe
It was so crowded you really couldn't dance much. Didn't play half the artists that was displayed on the advertisement. Good energy atleast
There was a lot of music we generally expected to hear at an indie dance party event, similar to Dance Yourself Clean (a long-time staple at The Satellite, RIP). This was not that. It was a fun event, but many songs were unrecognizable and it feels like there were a lot of obvious choices missed. Perhaps this was aiming at a younger crowd, as we seemed to be the oldest in the room (30's). Maybe the 20-year-olds had more songs in the mix, but I don't think I'm so far removed from current pop culture that all of the songs would be so generic-sounding.
played most of his personal music. i left after an hour. was waiting to hear some familiar jams but all i heard was generic dance music from the DJ’s portfolio. the transitions were awful. he played a Deftones song at an “indie dance party”?? there was a hype man talking throughout the Deftones song to get people hyped but it was annoying more than anything. i was waiting for a Tame Impala or Glass Animals song and all i got was boring techno music. the crowd would come alive when a song they recognized would FINALLY start playing. total waste of money, i definitely won’t be back.
