I truly enjoyed El DeBarge's return to the music scene. The setting, the hosting was exciting. He performed some of his old favorites. My only complaint was the show was not long enough. El has so many lovely songs and I wanted to hear something from his Starlight, Moonlight, Candlelight album. El has one of the most beautiful voices in R&B. I did not want the night to end. Neither did all the screaming lady fans.
I was very pleased that I purchased a ticket to witness this event. He continues to look and sound great, it reminded me of the earlier years. I am glad he was given the opportunity for a second chance and it was memorable and beautiful. May God continue to bless him and his family.
El was FANTASTIC. It was a great performance ... very genuine. His vocals are still mesmerizing and he engages the crowd. I would pay to see him all over again!
El was amazing!!! His vocals were perfection, his stage presence was as if he'd never left the music biz for a moment and he looks fabulous. He played a very mean piano, danced and wowed the ladies just like it was 1984! I sat on the edge of my seat for the whole concert, screamed, sang and shouted "I love you, El!" the whole concert. I would have paid double to see him and I would see him again and again if he toured in my area.
For any Debarge fan - you must see him live. He is better LIVE than on any CD. He sounded amazing and he looked just as good. I will go and see him again in a heartbeat.
This was a great concert. I danced the entire time. I would go see el every weeked if I could.
El gave a fantastic performance. My expectations were met and exceeded.
I must admit, I did not expect the show to be as good as was. El's voice is flawless and he really is an AWESOME TALENT!!! I've always been a fan, but I have an all new respect for him and I'm a fan for life! I want to see him again!!! Great job El, good to have you back!!!
Great concert, if you like his originals you won't be disappointed, plus his new tracks are very good too. Just wish the concert was longer but it was well worth the price of admission.
I have attended some of the best concerts ever from the Motown Review in New York at the Brooklyn Fox some 46 years ago, to Luther, Mavin Gaye, Eddie Levert and Smokey to John Legend, Usher, Ne-Yo and Robin Thicke and I would say EL is back in the same caliber of Michael Jackson and Prince. I felt like an 18 year old in stead if a 64 year old. The quality of his voice is better than ever, even better than his youth. It's strong and powerful. The excitement he conjured up was unparalled when you consider he didn't have the gimmicks of technology most super stars include in their performances today. I can't wait until he comes back to Atlanta and fills up Chastain!!

This was a great show. El Debarge sounded great and moved great for a man in his 30's, let alone a man that's almost 50. And on top of it, he sang all of the Debarge hits and even some old Switch hits, for only $30. I would have paid more without blinking.
EL was unbelivable hit after hit I forgot how mant hits he has. Great show.
This concert by far was the best investment I have made all year. I was disappointed to find out that El wasn't able to attend the show that Mary J. Blige/Jazmine Sullivan/Miguel played in the beginning of October, however, this show COMPLETELY made up for it! The general seating worked perfectly because it allowed me to manuver to the stage and El touched my hand! All in all....that show was BRILLIANT and EL DEBARGE hasn't missed a STEP! This was completely a night to remember.
Seeing El perform after all these years was exhilirating. He still has the voice. The concert was well worth my $$!

Ready to be entertained. You will thoroughly enjoy the return of one of the best performers of the 80's. El has a true testimony and is thankful for this "Second Chance". His voice is still in smooth and in perfect pitch as he reaches the stratosphere with his range and talent. Don't miss his concert if you have the opportunity. Definately a crowd pleaser , you will reminesce and have a great time with El's song and energy and will be thankful that he's backl.
I had a great time. El song all my favorite songs. He had the crowd standing and singing to his songs. It was wonderful.
El DeBarge put on one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. A pure talent who commands the stage and sings on another level compared to other artists around today. They could learn a thing or many from him. Simply AWESOME!!! Great voice! My husband and I highly recommend him as a must experience!!!
