Edmonton Oilers History
The origin of the Oilers goes back to 1972, when they were one of the founding franchises of the World Hockey Association. Once the league folded in 1979, they were one of four teams absorbed into the National Hockey League. It didn't take long for them to establish dominance in the league, reeling off five Stanley Cup Championships in seven years. They are tied with the Pittsburgh Penguins for the most championships since the NHL-WHA merger.
The Oilers of the '80s were a phenomenal dynasty with a roster that reads like the Hockey Hall of Fame: Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Paul Coffey, Glenn Anderson, Grant Fuhr, Jari Kurri, plus a stellar supporting cast. Gretzky scored 92 goals in 1982, breaking Phil Esposito’s record for number of goals in a single season. He also recorded a record 215 points in 1985. During his time with the Oilers as center and team captain, Gretzky led the team to four Stanley Cup championships (1984, 1985, 1987, and 1988). By the time Gretzky finished his time with the Oilers, he held or shared a total of 49 NHL records.
In all, the Edmonton Oilers have appeared in the Stanley Cup Final eight times.

This was my second time at a live hockey game, im diffently going again.
The security was fast and smooth, food was fast and good and I found the bathrooms clean. The game itself was amazing (and they won so). Getting out was a bit stressful because everyone left at the same time and were going in different directions but we made it out. Definitely will go back
We were all my family and my wife and daughters were very happy!
If you're getting Skybox seats to network and not watch hockey, these seats are for you. Excellent lounge, food, service and quality was top notch. No expense spared on food. The actual seats and view to the ice suck. First row Skybox B, the glass is at eye level, can't hear the whistles, or any game play. It's on mute. Also the banners are facing towards the Jumbotron and not the stands, so everything is backwards and blocking the view of the Jumbotron on top of it being backwards.
Loved the venue, the organization and the incredible atmosphere! They did it well, the only sad thing was losing in double OT but you couldn’t ask for a better game! Go Oilers!
I won tickets to game 4 of the playoffs-Oiler vs Stars. We had an absolute blast! What an amazing experience!!! The energy in Rodgers place was electric ⚡️ we will never forget it!!!
The Oilers dominated the ⭐️ s Grway atmosphere and worth the 💵
Right from the entrance... security and ticket scan went smooth with friendly staff paying attention. With a full arena, there were plenty of attendents around to help you out and lineups for the (over priced of course) food and beverages were very doable. Rogers has honed in on problem areas and it's working pretty smoothly!
I decided to hit up Ticketmaster for the best payoff experience I was accompanied by my beautiful daughters purchased 4 seats need less to say Our team took the series on home ice!!! Thanks to Ticketmaster was a unforgettable experience
