Eddie Griffin on Tour
A popular comedian turned actor who started his career on-stage as a dare, funnyman Eddie Griffin has built an ever-growing fan base since jumping onto the comedy scene in 1990.
His Stand-Up Comedy Specials have received rave reviews including Def Comedy Jam (1992), the Cable Ace Award-nominated HBO special One Night stand (1992), the HBO special Voodoo Child (1997), Dysfunktional Family (2003), Comedy Central's You Can Tell 'Em I Said It (2011), and the Showtime Special Undeniable (2018).
Comedy Central has honored Eddie as one of the Top 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of all time.
As an actor, Eddie Griffin has appeared in over 50 films such films as The Last Boy Scout (1991), Coneheads (1993), Armageddon (1998), Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), Norbit (2007), American Hero (2015) Mucho Dinero (2016), and A Star is Born (2018).
His most notable film role was Anton Jackson in Undercover Brother (2002). Eddie was nominated (1996) and won (2000) the NAACP Image Award for Best Actor in his own hit comedy series Malcolm and Eddie (1996-2000).
In 2019 Eddie began shooting the feature film The Comeback Trail alongside actors Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones.
Eddie's third SHOWTIME comedy special, Eddie Griffin: E-NIGGMA, premiered on December 6, 2019. Griffin's unapologetic storytelling canvasses his 30-plus year comedy career and offers an intimate glimpse into the 10th year of his nightly Las Vegas residency, The Eddie Griffin Experience at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.
I love Eddie Griffin!!!! I am glad he came to Baltimore, I drove a hour to see him and was very please with all performers. I really enjoyed the show and would pay to see it again.
As usual he aims to please and he did not let an impending snow storm stop him. The opening acts were one too many but they were funny too! Keep em' comin' Eddie!
Eddie Griffin was hilarious!!! I laughed so hard that my face hurt. The other comedians and the announcer were both funny as well. I highly recommend this show to others and would definitely go to another Eddie Griffin comedy show.
Everybody was pretty funny. Eddie Griffin could've done a little better. Some of his jokes weren't funny, but I think he let a couple people in the crowd take him off his routine when they were heckling him.
I don't think the show was very funny... Maybe the weather played a part in the evening not being much fun.. I think it took to long for him to finally get on the stage. Everyone was worried about the weather and not really enjoying the game.. by the end of the evening, most people had left.
Overall I enjoyed the show. The host was quite entertaining. I enjoyed just about all of the acts, although the hometown comedians were on opposite ends of the spectrum. The first one was hilarious, but the second one was not quite there yet. I'll give him a break since he's young. Perhaps he was just having an off night or the crowd didn't give him a chance to show them what he could do. 'Ashy Larry,' in my opinion had the funniest set, from what I could hear. The crowd was very rowdy, and at times, I could not hear my own thoughts much less the comedians' acts due to all the excess chatter and heckling from the crowd. It really took away from the experience. I was ready for some belly-aching laughs. I'm sure I would have had a better time if my bad-audience-member magnet had not drawn the worst crowd to the seats around me. I might have been better off sitting in the balcony. Who'd of ever thought that?
Evryone was funny! We laughed from beginning to end. But I was sick of da MJ jokes! It was a really nice event to attend for my b-day!
some of it was a bit over the top, but it was and adult comedy show, I think the drinking on stage was a little excessive, but what the hey, he wasn't driving? I love the venue, will attend many more shows there.
Eddie Griffin kept it real and he made you laughed through-out the entire show. You must see him in person.

I had a chance to meet Eddie before the show started and he was really cool and down to earth first of all. Then once the show started he was NON-STOP funny. This is by far one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. I would go see him again anytime he came close to the southern region.
Being able to see Eddie Griffin was the best ever. I enjoyed every minute of his show. He made us laugh from the time he walked onto the stage til the time he walked off. He is one of the greatest comedian around. I will DEFINITELY buy tickets to see him again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND others to see him.
He was hilarious two hour straight comedy. No opening act. He started on time. maintain the audience attention really a laugh a minute. Only complaint was the woman who needed some extra attention that kept talking. Overall performance was great. I have seen Eddie Griffen several times over the 18 years. I have seen in small venues and large ones but this was one of his best performances.
This was The best show I have seen In years. I have been just about every show at the casino but this one was top of the line
From the moment, his foot hit the stage Eddie Griffin had the crowd laughing. After awhile our faces hurt from laughing so much and we had tears rolling down our faces. A true talent because Eddie is great at improvising on a dime! We look forward to seeing him again. Hopefully at the IP Casino.
The show was great. Wasn't sure what to expect after see the vh1 show which I did not like. I laughed the whole time.
The Eddie Griffin show was so funny! I had a great time! The buffet food was also amazing!
Eddie Griffin was the BOMB!!!!! He told jokes that made me almost pp on myself after coming from the bathroom. Now you know that, was good. I took my son for his 30th birthday and we both laughed so hard and tried to tell our friends some of the jokes, but you had to be there. We are not comedians. I will always recommend his shows and depending on your grip, I suggest that you wear a depend.

I could not stop laughing. I would definitely recommend his show to family members and friends.
