  • Not for Christians

by JesusisReal on 9/19/11The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 1 out of 5

This is not a show for Christians. Within the first 15 minutes, he said that the people that wrote the Bible were stupid; Jesus is not God, and if you believe in that stuff, you're stupid too. That's the clean version of what he said.

  • Eddie Griffin at the Horseshoe Casino was a riot

by MJLaw on 9/19/11The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 4 out of 5

I was impressed first of all with the venue's character, professionalism and great customer service they provided. Next, the audience was great as well and was ready for some Eddie Griffin. It was amazing to see how many people of all nationalities follows Mr. Griffin. He was in rare form as usual. Sometimes a little over the top, but overall great performance.

  • Eddie Griffin - funny as hell!

by Patti40 on 9/19/11The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Eddie Griffin was so funny I had tears in my eyes the entire show. I am so glad I decided to go check out his show. He talked about his personal life, religion, Michael Jackson, and politics. He had a point of view about everything. The man is hillarious. I am surprised he isn't as famous as Eddie Murphy or Martin Lawrence. Eddie Griffin was great!

My husband and I had chose to go to the Eddie Griffin concert for date night. We couldn't have made a better choice if we tried. We had a BLAST!! Later that evening I developed a sore throat from all the laughing I was doing. Well worth it!!

  • Eddie kept it real

by ChiLady on 9/19/11The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 4 out of 5

Eddie was great! His routine centered around current events. He was funny as well as doing a lot of truth telling. He says this tour will probably be his last, so see him before its too late. Warning: his material was not for the weak or easily offended. He did not do any characters from his movies. This show was strictly rated "R".

  • Eddie Griffin tells it like it is!!!

by Queen6 on 9/19/11The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed the show Eddie Griffin is very knowledgeable and tells it like it is. Some people are to afraid risk losing available opportunities, but somebody got to stand up and tell the truth. Thanks Eddie

I saw Eddie Griffith last year and this year it was just as good. He started on time, gave a bunch of laughs and stayed on topic through each of them as well as passed out food for thought, ie cigarettes, Michael Jackson, and the Ferrari crash! HA, HA, HA Love Ya Eddie!

The show was very very funny. The opening act was humorous but Mr. Griffin was hilarious. I laughed from the begging to the end. This was my first time seeing Mr. Griffin live. I would run to see him again. I’m still laughing.

  • Eddie Griffin was the bomb!!!!

by Godfrey1 on 9/18/11The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time. My line of sight to the stage was excellent, and the oversized screen provided additional viewing power for my party. Finally, Eddie Griffin was off the chain, and I can not say when was the last time I laughed that hard.

  • Eddie Griffin was funny as hell!

    by CDM5866 on 8/15/11Charleston Municipal Auditorium - CharlestonRating: 4 out of 5

I was kind of mad because he was supposed to start at 7:30 and it didn't start until 9pm..but once he got up there I laughed uncontrollably! I did not appreciate him being late, and had I not paid for the tickets and would have lost money, I would have left before even seeing him perform. I hope this is an isolated, unfortunate situation that doesn't happen everywhere he performs. I would recommend him to anyone otherwise! Great show once it got started!

  • Worst Ever

by mstyd on 8/15/11Charleston Municipal Auditorium - CharlestonRating: 1 out of 5

I'm not taking anything from Eddie he was funny, but it started over an hour late, and although there was very few people the pa system was horrible, it was hard to understand what anyone was saying, and on top of that the few people that were there were talking sooooo much, I couldn't hear. Then Eddie got drunk and a no show at the meet and greet. I drove from Columbus, Ohio because I love Eddie, but was very disappointed in this show.
