About

The Eagles possess one of the most storied careers in all of music. The California group, formed in 1971, have sold more than 200 million albums globally with six releases reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 through their final studio album, Long Road Out of Eden (2007). The band also holds the record for best-selling album in the United States with the 1976 compilation Their Greatest Hits 1971-1977 certified 38-times platinum. Their immediate follow-up Hotel California, released later that year, ranks third on the U.S. all-time best-seller list at 26-times platinum. The Eagles made an instantaneous imprint on rock music with their indelible 1972 debut single “Take It Easy,” and over the years released five No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 including “Best of My Love,” “Hotel California” and “Heartache Tonight.” The band earned six Grammys throughout their career, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Founded by Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, Glenn Frey and Randy Meisner, the Eagles have forged ahead as a live outfit featuring Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Deacon Frey.

    What a show!

by CBnLB on 10/18/18United Center - Chicago

You have got to give credit where it's due and the Eagles deserve all the credit they get. This is a tight band with an expansive catalogue that comes out and delivers. Unlike younger performers who give you that boiler plate 90 minute show, the Eagles come out and deliver a 2.5 hour virtuoso performance. The music and effort given is well worth the price. These guys are professional craftsmen who take pride in their in what they are bringing to the public. Vince Gill and Deacon Frey mesh in perfectly with the band. Don Henley and Joe Walsh drive the performance through Don's singing and Joe's guitar work. I would go again tomorrow if I could!

    The Eagles crushed it!!

by TraDiz on 10/18/18United Center - Chicago

I couldn’t have enjoyed the show more. Saw them about 20 years ago, their harmonies were as rich and full today as they were then. Loved the stage & lighting. Kudos to their sound crew too. Class act!

    The Eagles

    One Word...."Amazing"

by letzgodebbie on 10/18/18United Center - Chicago

The Eagles didn't miss a beat delivering an amazing concert to fans. They played over 2.5hrs and didn't stop. Joe Walsh was not only funny and made you feel as if he was talking just to you, his guitar playing earned several cheers from the audience. Vince Gill did a great job on the vocals as well as Deacon Fry standing in for his dad. They both were naturals and if you didn't know Glen was gone, you would of never known. The sound quality and acoustics were spot on. Overall a truly memorable and wonderful experience.

    Amazing Show

by LIVEHARD on 10/18/18United Center - Chicago

Was a little hesitant about how good the show would be without a couple of original band members missing. Both Vince Gill and Glenn Frys son did a phenomenal job. Would highly recommend.

    Eagles Final Tour (hopefully)

by Mnycars on 10/17/18Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

Eagles really showed their age, and lack of chemistry with the new members. Vince Gill sang many Glenn.Frey songs and sounded like a western cover. Even Henley’s voice creaked as he sang Desperado during the encore. I should have stayed home and embraced the memory of my last concert when Frey and Felder were still with the band.

We really like the Eagles but they seem to be moving away from the easy to listen too style to a turn the volume up and blast their ears out style. This seemed to progress as the evening progressed. Often couldn't hear the words to the music due to the loudness of the music. Vince Gill and Deacon Frey were great. Just turn the volume down.

What can you say about being lucky enough to see one of the world's best bands? I was in awe and felt so grateful to see these guys perform live. Wish Deacon sang more songs!

Oh they were absolutely wonderful! It was the best concert I've ever been to. They sang for 2-1/2 hours and they sang every song so perfect, and the guitar playing was beyond excellent. So happy I was able to attend.

    Amazing!

by Lynn602 on 10/17/18Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

The Eagles never disappoint—even with the huge loss of Glen Frey! We saw them at the Palace 5 years ago, and that was probably the best concert I’ve ever been to. This was just as good in a different way. They started on time and played for 2.5 hours—no warm up bands and long stage changes. THANKS, EAGLES!

    Still amazing!!!

by Meldawoman on 10/17/18Little Caesars Arena - Detroit

I thought that the Eagles without Glen Frey would be only half as good. Wrong. I thought that last year's concert with Deacon Frye and Vince Gill was the best. Wrong. The Eagles, with the addition of Deacon Frey and Vince Gill, has obviously hit their stride this year. The addition of the two new members, the addition of the Brass section and the strings and a new guitarist have made this group even more relevant. My husband and I took our 20 something kids to see them this time....and they thought that the concert was awesome. If you have ever wanted to see a great concert with great music....then this is it!!!1
