Duran Duran have been international pop icons for over 30 years, penning such instantly recognizable '80s hits as "Rio" and "Hungry Like a Wolf." Their concerts are exciting, high-energy affairs where fans can come as they are and rock out to songs that speak to them. Performances are often held in large venues where fans can sit enjoy the ambiance while singing along with the band. Ticket holders were thrilled in 2011 when original band members reunited to cut the band's newest album, All You Need Is Now. Even better, in 2012, Duran Duran released a live recording of its Diamond in the Mind tour, so fans could relive the excitement of seeing the band in person.
Duran Duran's career began in 1978, and the band quickly rose to top-10 status several times over in the early 1980s, in part thanks to being one of the first bands to make music videos for broadcast on MTV. Shortly after creating a controversy with their "Girls on Film" video, which was considered too risqué at the time, Duran Duran decided to test the American market. They proved to be equally popular abroad and at home, and a pop sensation was born. Throughout the '80s and '90s, the band continued to produce new hits. They are best known for "Hungry Like a Wolf," "Rio" and other songs with strong beats and distinctive lyrics. Since Duran Duran has endured for so many years, going to a concert can be a bonding experience for parents and children, who can both enjoy the band's distinctive sound.
I’ve seen Duran Duran 13 times since I was 11 what a treat to of come to Thunder valley after just being here in august which was a treat too but 17000 people at golden one to thunder with only 5000 was a real good show and a feather in the cap for thunder valleys new venue and it’s team way to go United auburn Indian community
Saw DD at Hollywood Bowl. That show was a huge production, very rehearsed/ polished. Phenomenal! This show was more intimate, raw, more improv, with some fun unexpected song choices. It felt more like being in a nightclub. It was a great contrast to the last show. I enjoyed seeing them in this smaller venue just as much. Each experience holds great memories.
DD was Durantastic! Awesome show. They played their classic songs from their heyday mixed with some stuff. The acoustics of The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino are topnotch. There is not a bad seat in the house, honestly. I would definitely see Duran Duran again at Thunder Valley. I hope they are invited back at some point.
Great show! They sound and look amazing. Wished they would’ve played a couple more of their older songs but still loved the show!

We shouldn’t have to walk thru a smoking convention to go to the concert, there are entrances to the Venue but they are always locked.
I’ve loved Duran Duran since their first album. Saw them in 1984! They always put on a great show! So talented!
This was a great show! You could see how much they enjoy performing. Simon started out a little reserved, but loosened up and seem to be having a ball! Loved the videos in the background, and great music!
Duran Duran was fantastic! Their music is so energetic and revitalizing. I was transported back to being a teenager! Simon is a showman whose voice has not betrayed him. He stands the test of time. John Taylor, Nick Rhodes, Roger Taylor were all fantastic, as was the guitarist whose name I do not know. Highlights for me were a Ordinary World and their cover of White Lines. Still singing the latter days later. You gotta go if they come to your area. It was a fun show and somewhat surreal to see the guys I would race home to watch on MTV as a swooning teenager. Not much gives you that enthusiasm of youth after a certain age, this show does.
That was bad. Just bad. Simon was uninterested and Nick was comatose.
DD is my favorite band ever. First time they were late coming on stage. No apology or words of regret. They let me down. Set list was great and I had a good time nonetheless.
Duran Duran put on an awesome show. They sound great and Thunder Valley was a great venue.
Loved seeing Duran Duran in concert. I grew up listening to them on the radio and it was nice to see them live. Brought back great memories from the past...

Duran Duran brought the house down. What can I say? It was packed? Everybody was feeling the 80s. And we all had a great time. This is the best band i've ever seen.
i saw duran duran for the third time at thunder valley casino. i was on the floor, so of course it was a great time. DD sounds exactly like they always have, and with so much energy. Simon, a great frontman, and my favorite member, Nick, coolest keyboardist ever. played a great selection of songs. love seeing DD live.
This is my 8th time seeing the men since 1984. Each concert was different than the one before but their performances are always top notch. I love how they are now performing some of the more obscure classics like friends of mine and careless memory. Even If you are not a Duranie like me you will still have an amazing time. I LOVE YOU JOHN..letting my inner teen out!!!
