  • A Must See for TTRPG Fans

by Tall Boy Card Holder on 12/2/25Ricardo Montalban Theatre - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic! The DMs were snarky, the story was hilarious, the players, a hoot, and the production was just perfect. It's very apparent that no two shows are alike and I found myself thinking about attending future shows before the current one had even concluded! I only wish the run time matched a real d&d session so I could watch all day! Looking forward to future tours!

  • Grand fun

by Ashley on 12/1/25Ricardo Montalban Theatre - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

It was super easy to follow even though I know almost nothing about D&D. Sooo many laughs were had, and I would totally see this again.

  • An Improve Extravaganza!

by BaconDog on 11/29/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Lots of audience excitement! Was able to participate through my phone for so many choices. Tavern keeper got her birthday wish of a TPK, but still vanquished the BBEG. The technical support hands provided audio and visual enhancement in real time as the improvised story unfolded. Bravo to all!

  • Fun show, terrible acoustics

    by Robbotron2084 on 11/25/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

The show at the Balboa Theater in San Diego was a lot of fun, but two things need addressing. 1. We could hardly hear the performers when they were speaking as the reverb and other noise in the theater prevented us from fully understanding what was going on. We relied a lot on context to help us get through the show. And B. The performers, especially for an inprov comedy show, need to know when to pause for laughter so we can hear their dialog. If this could be fixed, I'd give the show 5 stars instead.

  • Fantastically fun!

by CSA on 11/25/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Unique and amazing experience. The actors were brilliant. The interactivity was great. The ability to help choose the adventure and help them succeed or fail. The giant die was my favorite. They brought the game to life. Even if you don’t play DND you’ll still enjoy this show. I wish I could’ve seen it multiple times because of the way it changes each time.

  • Not a D and D player....

by Boss Tiger's Wife on 11/23/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I have never in life played a game of D and D. My husband however, is a dungeon master. I loved every second of this and would see if 50 more times if I had the time and money. It was funny, fun, interative and just a really good time. I would honestly give more stars if I could.

  • Innovative, merry, and delightful!

by Karina on 11/21/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I wasn’t sure what to expect or how the interactivity would work, but I have since been describing it as a wild live-play D&D campaign with improv, special effects, audience participation, and the caprice of the dice roll—which still doesn’t sum it up at all. I loved the DM and her rules wizard (11/18 show) and the cast were all terrific character performers who weren’t making fun of D & D but really playing it. Huzzah!

  • A magical evening

by Viburnum princess on 10/25/25Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

I absolutely loved attending the show with my family. We laughed hysterically. The crowd was so welcoming and the ushers were so helpful. The merch is adorable. This is my third show that I’ve attended. I’ll be attending another show soon in November. Excellent cast with great energy I love how the audience has control of the experience.

  • Fabulous!

I had a fantastic time at the Twenty Sided Tavern! The cast was energetic and amazing and even stayed after to sign autographs and talk to attendees! Definitely catching it again when it comes back to Carolina!

  • Good fun

A appreciate that in this economy you all had enough decency to offer affordable tickets. For around $60 bucks I was able to share an amazing experience with my D&D obsessed child. She kept saying how fun it was. It’s good to have these experiences with adult children and I appreciate you for making it affordable and accessible. This was my first experience at Tanger and my first interactive experience. Fantastic!
