I was impressed by getting updated on my upcoming event and how easy it was with the app and checking in to get to my seat
Had a great time and enjoyed the seats behind a goal post. The fans were divided between the teams but respectful and never unruly. I wish the field goal nets were not raised when the bands played. They were lowered during game play, which allowed a clear view of players, but raised throughout halftime, making it difficult to enjoy the bands’ performances.
Parking cost way to much and was difficult to get in and out. Spaces seemed smaller than usual. The venue was excellent and so was the event. I hate all the hidden fees. You have a ticket price but by the time you complete the transaction the cost is 25-40% higher.
Had a great time in Charlotte - experiencing both Uptown and the historic South End. The central location of the stadium makes it easy to stay nearby and access lots of great spots for touring and eating without getting in a car (okay, we can walk a little farther than the average American/Southerner). Had tremendous seats at the game, and it was easy to access them and all of the services. Really liked that there is a texting option to help with obnoxious fans, although that was not an issue at all (despite USC's reputation for unruly stadium behavior). Wish the game had been more exciting, but that's on UNC, not the bowl.
Seats for the game were great but the South Church street parking deck we purchased a pass for was terrible. We purchased the pass because it was close to the stadium and thought would be more convenient. We were 5 minutes from the stadium an hour before kickoff. We sat for 40 minutes not moving due to the police not letting traffic from our street go. We missed kickoff as a result. After the game we watched till the end stayed for the trophy presentation walked around for a while and then walked back to the deck. We sat in our car not moving for another 40 minutes before we were able to leave. My daughter who drove a separate car and was right behind us before the game, parked in a side lot on the way in. She beat us to the game by 30 minutes and was on the road 40 minutes before us after. I would not recommend the South Church Street lot!!!
Entered the stadium quickly, had great seats and atmosphere was perfect.
Great time, Great seats, and Cocks win. It doesn’t get any better.
Not like other bowl games I’ve been to. Basically you walk in the stadium, attend the game, and go home. No one selling merchandise. No cheerleaders or bands In the parking lot. No game day experience.
Everything went smooth as mayonnaise! From the purchase through scanning in at the gate the process, including notifications with links, went very smoothly and stress free, a bonus for this old untechie fellow!
Such an amazing time had with my son and I. Seats were perfect experience was amazing and our Gamecocks won
I am a Carolina Fan and the game did not go our way it was a great football game. The only issue I had was the start time I believe more fans would have been there if the start time was later.
We had great seats at Bank of America stadium. All concessions were open - there was no waiting in long lines. The staff at the gates, in the stands, and at concessions were all so helpful and friendly. If we get the chance to go to this bowl game again, we’ll jump all over it!
Venue was near lots of restaurants but unfortunately many were closed including Mellow Mushroom at 7pm. The stadium had a mask requirement for inside areas that not many followed and not enforced. That’s unfortunate with the Covid-19 virus still raging. Overall, it was a great experience.
I have been to multiple events at Bank of America stadium and never had a worse downtown traffic experience. While mid-week, business travel was not an issue given the 11:30am kickoff. I built in an extra 45 minutes for traffic with the plan to be at the stadium at 10:30am. I arrived just after kickoff.
Game was great, facility is good, but twice I have had dickish security guys ruin the event. I didn't drink either time, and kept quiet and well behaved both times. A-hole #1 was strictly enforcing ticket location in an event more than half empty. A-hole#2
To begin with, the traffic situation was terrible. Roads were closed, there was constructions-it was like no one thought about traffic related to the game until the morning of. Navigation was a nightmare. At the event there were few niceties that one associates with a bowl game-no half time giveaways, no swag bags, etc. and the concessions ran out of things before half time. Very disappointed in Belk.
The Belk Bowl was the absolute best. The Big Blue Crew had a ball!! The weather was right, the food and drink was good, and the WIN brought it all together!! What a great time!!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!
The Belk Bowl in Charlotte NC seemed to be a well organized event. A large crowd of both Kentucky and Virginia Tech fans and supporters gathered in front of the stadium for music and cheers before the game. In front of the stadium were several vendors selling food and T-shirts allowing a leisurely walk to the stadium. Entrance to the stadium itself was amazingly easy. There were plenty of bag and security checkers and lots of ticket checkers, so entry was a snap. Hardly had to hesitate when entering. I paid extra for my tickets, not really understanding why seats closer to the field were cheaper. This made little sense to me until I entered the stadium and walked up three flights to my seats. My seats were in a special section that had indoor food and seating away from the cold and the crowd. The one issue I had was, when I looked around I saw plenty of empty seats, whereas when I purchased tickets weeks earlier it looked like hardly any were available. I am still puzzled by this. I had overlooked that our seats were on the Kentucky side of the field while we were Hokie fans. I guess I missed this in my haste to make a purchase. Well, the Wildcat fans were cordial if not loud. Overall, I enjoyed the game and the game experience thanks to a well organized event. I would have liked to have seen more activities though, like cheering squads, possibly a parade, etc. outide the stadium, before the game.
Great venue and all folks were nice and accommodating. We even won a gift card that Belk was giving away during the game! We would go back for sure!
