The Duke Mayo Bowl was terrific because my team won.
Great atmosphere and great seats! Very easy access to the stadium and could see the field very well.
Game was great, particularly because Maryland won!! We had great seats and good fans. It didn’t matter which team you were rooting for! Only problem was parking, we asked about handicap parking & never received an answer.
Downloaded tickets into my wallet and very easy to display to enter stadium
Such a nice game, from the treatment from the staff to the experience watching Maryland Win! Overall had such a fun time and the seats were amazing for the price!
No pregame show or Bandit Team flyover. Seemed just like a regular season game.
Purchasing tickets was easy. The whole process of getting in was simple. The stadium could have had vendors selling sodas, beer and snacks, but the concession lines were not bad. We rode the light rail to the stadium, so had no problem there. All in all, everything was good. The game could have had more offense, but it is what it is.
The entire process of searching for the right seat, purchasing tickets, downloading to my wallet, and finally scanning the ticket for admission was extremely smooth and efficient.
Longest game ever and very boring no matter which team you were pulling for! Too many commercial breaks.
Facility staff was great. Plenty of people working, so little wait times. But NO fan events AT ALL prior to the game. No pep rally, no parade, no concert. Nothing to build up to the game. Game experience was lackluster as well. All focus on the mayo dump. I've been to Music City and Gator bowls with tons of events in town and around stadiums before the game. This was much better when Belk sponsored it!
The seats were great. Our usher, Judy could not have been nicer. My 5 year old granddaughter and I got to the stadium early and Judy was very helpful! She wanted to take our picture before all the crowds came. The food was good and family bathroom was nearby.
Great seats, good activities! They gave away Dukes Mayo after the game!
Ticket experience and the stadium itself were fine. We were surprised that there were no events for fans attending the game. We have been to many bowls including several bowls in Charlotte. There have always been fan fest events the day before or of including concerts.
The last time I attended a college bowl game at this stadium (Belk Bowl 2017), there was a pre-game concert outside of the stadium. I arrived early this year expecting something similar, but there was absolutely nothing going on outside the stadium. If you didn't tailgate at your vehicle or find one of a few local bars that were open, you were out of luck for pre-game entertainment. With regards to the game itself, Bank of America Stadium is an excellent venue for a college bowl game. Ticket prices are reasonable for the value received.
Although the team I rooted for lost, the bowl was well-run. We arrived as the gates opened; the entry was smooth and quick. We had club tickets, and the concessions and bar were top-notch. Also, the Duke's Mayo mascot and promotional activities were quirky and fun. Finally, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again.
We’ll run event at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Ample security and crowd control. A little disappointed there wasn’t a better overall fan experience. No Fanfest or concert and no Duke’s swag. Not enough giveaway Mayo at the exit to cover all fans.
Easy entry and efficient concessions. The popcorn refills couldn’t keep up with the demand. The mayo giveaway on exit was a nice touch.
It was a very good idea to merge ticket and parking purchases together. That was great!
This is a bowl that has fun and doesn't take itself too seriously, and that contributes positively to the atmosphere, even on a warm but drizzly day, with a persistent drip from the upper deck onto our seats. The amenities were nice, save for the lack of soap in the men's room, and the blocking off of the streets gave a festival feel to the experience. Only one major problem: my team didn't show up and put in an embarrassing performance on the field. Kudos to the mayo folks, though!
This was my first college bowl game, so I really enjoyed it! The energy from the crowd (mostly South Carolina) was infectious...pun intended.
