I surprised my 29 yr old daughter with tickets. It was her first musical & I was a little worried that she wouldn't enjoy it, even though as child she enjoyed the movie. It did not fail....It was awesome!!! We both laughed all the way through. I have been to a handful of musicals, but this one has made the top of my list of favorites! Job well done!
It was wonderful. I took my daughter and my nieces and all three had no idea what to expect but they all loved it.
I've been to Drury Lane Theater many times in the past few years.Little Shop of Horrors was an excellent show with an outstanding cast as has been every other production we've seen there. We also dined at Lucille,the in-house restaurant, and had a fine dinner preceding the show. Considering that the show,dinner and parking(free) costs as much as a Loop theater production ticket only,not including parking or dinner,Drury Lane is still the best money can buy.
I've seen shows at Drury Lane before and there is never a bad seat. For Little Shop of Horrors in particular, the set spun and entrances were made on either side so it felt like it was always including the audience. The cast was very small but you couldn't even tell. I couldn't recommend it enough and want to go see it again before it leaves!
