The plot was very thin...but Gerswhin's music was memorable. The singing and especially the dancing provided a delightful showcase for this play. The cast was extremely talented!
We had the dinner before the show and the food is just so-so, so we won't be eating here again. But I do recommend the shows. We've seen numerous shows here over the past ten years and they have all been very good. Not at the level of a Broadway show, but then neither is the price of the ticket. The theatre is fairly small, so most seats are good even in the back.

We decided to go as a last minute decision to see a stage production. Drury Lane is close and had seats. The sets were fantastic and the actors were amazing. Great energy and a very entertaining combination of dance, song, and great 'one liners' through out the performance.
What an uplifting evening of entertainment! I bought these tix as a gift for my actor boyfriend and we were both thoroughly amused and entertained during the entire performance! The actors were terrific and the ones playing the leads were exceptional...especially the one who played "Bobby". Thank you for a wonderful night out!
The singing and dancing were great! However, at intermission, we received devastating news and had to leave so we did not get to see second act!

Wonderful singing, dancing, and choreography. Costumes excellent. Moving (mechanical) stage sets incredible. Acting of the story very good, moved with the right pacing. Not too slow or too fast. I expected the show to be good, but it was even better. Made me smile and laugh from start to end. Might even see it a second time before the run ends!
A performance worthy of a standing ovation. These actors have some serious talent and work together well. The beautiful ladies in the cast also made a great impression.
Great to witness the story and context of the many classic Gershwin songs. The set design, live orchestra, dancing and singing were all top-notch, as good or better than the downtown shows, without the hassles of parking etc
This is one of the most entertaining plays I've seen in years. The acting was excellent. The music was cleverly placed in the story. The story on it's own was so much fun. I took my mom and Godmother, they are still talking about it days later. I would highly recommend this warm hearted performance.

Our 2nd time visiting Druey Lane and this play Crazy For You was a nice love story with great visuals. The songs are good as well as the dancing with some beautiful actresses. Great job with acting, choreography, music, everything. Made the night a hit with my wife.

High Energy dancers, wonderful voices, imaginative staging....marvelous production at the Drury Lane Theatre. Clyde Alves and Robyn Hurder are great in the leads. They must have been born dancing! That kid Gershwin has a real future in musical theatre! The talent this cast has is amazing....the dancing talent of lead actor is outstanding..and there is humor. The voice the lead actress has is God given.
I would absolutely see this musical again. The cast gave an amazing performance and you could tell they left it all on the stage! The dancing was phenomenal, the singing was amazing, and the set was beautifully made. The actors were believable in their roles and they gave a performance I will never forget. I have to give props to the ensemble, I do not know how they make every kick, turn, and jump look so effortless while also giving a great singing performance. The orchestra played wonderfully and I was enchanted by every note that they came from the pit. I would definitely recommend seeing this musical.
