I nearly cried 3 times. It was very beautiful in a more intimate theater that made it extra amazing. Puts some comedy in the traditionally displayed story. Loved it.
We really enjoyed the Beauty and the Beast performance!! Everyone was amazing!! Truly stellar performance across the board. This performance had so much energy, great costumes, and amazing singing talent. My teenage daughter rates it as one of her favorite performances!! Lumiere kept us laughing!! Excellent performance and true to the Disney storyline!! Definitely work going to see!!!
Took my niece and nephew (both 19). We always love coming here. Theater is beautiful and have never had a bad view. The show was wonderful. Staging was great-costumes were magnificent. Actors accomplished and great singing voices. Candlestick guy was a stitch and his flossing moves were an added hysterical moment. Came out in very bad, snowy driving situation and the dicey commute was worth it. Thanks for another great theater experience.
The performance was absolutely stunning! Everything from the props to the costumes, and even the actors, portrayed the story in such an incredible way. I would definitely see this show again!
This was our third time at Drury Lane. The theater is comfortable and all seats have good views. The production was excellent. The voices and the acting were wonderful and as usual with BATB I was in tears at the end. The set didn't always work well. The stage seemed a little small for the production, and the stairs spinning around all the time was distracting. Also, parking was an issue. We were there for a matinee during the workweek and the top level of the garage was closed due to ice so parking was very limited and we ended up the equivalent of several blocks away on a very cold day. We hadn't built that into our timeline but luckily there were so many people trying to park that they held the start of the show and we didn't miss anything. Not sure what they can do but more parking is needed during the week - even the top level of the garage would not have held all the overflow. Overall though, a very good production and we'll be back at Drury Lane for Mamma Mia.
It was a great experience. Music, the players, the stage were all wonderful. I took my little daughters. I made a mistake of buying first row tickets and it is hard to see the whole stage. You should not buy first 4-5 rows to have a good view.
I've been to Drury Lane several times for brunch and home shows. This is the first time I've gone for a show. We couldn't find a parking space so we decided to do valet. When we pulled up there was no one there, so we waited. Eventually someone came and got car. This issue was when we left. We decided to sit in the bar because we new there would be a line and it was 10 degrees outside. After 45 minutes we go outside and there were several people saying they lost my keys. Well they lost mine also. Pretty annoying because I could see my car 100 feet away. After about 15 minutes they found them and brought me my car. After all that the Show was Excellent!
My teenage daughter and I attended her favorite Disney story with a group of other moms & daughters. The show was very enjoyable - the acting, singing and dancing were outstanding!! "Be our Guest" was so awesome; we felt like we were at a Broadway Show!! We highly recommend to anyone that loves B&B. You will not be disappointed.
Show was amazing. The cast did a phenomenal job. My family and I really enjoyed Beauty and the Beast. We highly recommend seeing it.
