    Great Story

by SundayDrive on 5/6/14Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

Good, seemed low budget, only 3 actors, could have gotten real upholstered car seats for the stage. I guess I'm so used to seeing the movie. I think this may have been my first play here that wasn't a musical, so I guess I was trying too hard to compare them. Nevertheless, I would recommend.

    Small Cast, Big Performance

    by Pudding2 on 2/11/14American Theatre - Hampton

I was amazed that they were able to do so much with such a small cast and small stage. The actors were remarkable. Although all of them gave a great performance, Wendy Scharfman was awesome ! Her ability to age before your eyes using her movements and mannerisms was remarkable. Johnnie Hobbs also gave a stellar performance, demonstrating just the right amount of respect and pride. I would see it again.

Amazing what 3 people can do!

by PMOCK on 10/12/09Brown County Playhouse - Nashville

I took my mother, daughter and three of my sisters to see Driving Miss Daisy. It was the first play one of my sisters had been to and she loved it. She wants to go to another one. All of us enjoyed the play. It is surprising what 3 props and 3 actors can do in relaying a story. The acting was GREAT. The son made you believe he was really the son and you could feel the aging of the other 2 actors throughout the play. GREAT JOB.

    Driving Miss Daisy was wonderful!

by littlemac39 on 10/11/09Brown County Playhouse - Nashville

Driving Miss Daisy is the best play I have ever seen. All 3 actors were excellent. My husband, his 93-year young aunt and I enjoyed the play very much.
