    Incredible performance.

by Jack on 3/13/24Turner Theater - Franklin

The production was top notch. The cast performed as well as anything we have seen on Broadway. We were moved beyond our experience in seeing the movie. Congratulations to all involved in producing such a wonderful event. We'' be back!

This was the first time going to event at Tilson Auditorium, and I know I will be back. We had a great experience. Sound was wonderful and we were able to see all the way in the back. The play was so true to the movie just wonderful. They only bad thing I can say is that it was a little to warm, that is the only bad thing I can say.

    Lovin Miss Daisy

by mommakam on 3/10/17Tilson Auditorium - Terre Haute

I have loved the show since I first saw it in the theater. The actors in this showing of Driving Miss Daisy were amazing. The flow was very good and at the end we realized that the whole show was done by only 3 actors with few props and remained engaging thoughout the entire presentation. It seemed to go so quickly that we couldn't believe we had sat through the whole thing.

    Excellent play for three people

by lbjER on 11/12/14City Theatre - Detroit

This play was amazing. Three actors on stage doing a fantastic job. Pretty close to the movie script. The aging process was great. Some of the best acting I have ever seen on stage.

    Excellent!!!!

    by daverrr1234 on 11/11/14City Theatre - Detroit

I thoroughly enjoyed this play. I thought with just 3 main characters, that it may be a bit boring. It was actually very good. It kept me awake and ready for more....

Driving Miss Daisy was a Cadillac!!

by silver25 on 5/13/14Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

Loved it and so did my Husband who is not a Theatre buff like me. Excellent acting from 3 great actors. Sandy Duncan was superb and the actor who played Hoke would make Morgan Freeman proud. Great show!!!

Driving Miss Daisy a must see!

by SesaZero7 on 5/13/14Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

I actually purchased the tickets for my mom and aunts to attend Mother's Day weekend. All three were well pleased with the production calling the actors phenomenal! The movie has been a favorite of my mom for years, so for her to be able to see it as a production was wonderful for her.

    Dry Miss Daisy

by mitchiko on 5/13/14Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

The play started out very slow. In fact so slow I struggled to remain awake, It was difficult to bring the movie experience to the stage. It was also difficult to forget the performances of Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman

    A Fraction of the Original

by GoValGal on 5/10/14Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Raleigh

Ok, first off I must proclaim that I love Sandy Duncan and I love Drivinig Miss Daisy, the movie. The play was 3 characters and snipits from the movie, and that's it. Did they do a good job in their roles. Yes! Was there any drama or music or addition to what the movie had to offer. Sadly, no. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes (no intermission) to act out the chosen snipits from the movie. That was it. Of course some lines were funny, but they were the same ones from the movie. There was really nothing added. I was very disappointed and although I feel like 3 stars is generous, my conscience and my love and respect for Sandy Duncan won't allow me to rate it any lower. But I would not recommend this one.

Elegant in its simplicity. Actors infused the performance with emotion and wit -- very enjoyable evening.
