Drew Lynch On Tour
“A comedian with a stutter” is how Drew Lynch describes himself on his popular YouTube channel, and that description is certainly accurate. But it’s also misleading, because Lynch is so much more.
His weekly videos feature the affable, earnest Lynch monologuing alongside his ever-patient service dog Stella, or Lynch and Stella rendered in colorful animation for their recurring “Therapy Dog” segments, or Lynch performing stand-up at clubs around the U.S. They regularly rack up tens of thousands of views, winning him legions of fans around the world.
More than making people laugh (the job description of every comedian ever), Lynch’s mission is unique. Yes, he’s a comedian with a stutter, and he often makes his condition the punchline of his jokes. But whether in his videos, on stage, or acting in film and TV, Lynch applies his comedic gifts to dispel stereotypes and convey a message of perseverance, open-mindedness, and positivity.
Lynch didn’t originally set out to inspire anyone — or to be a stand-up comedian, for that matter. Relying on his boyish good looks and stutter-free charisma, he left his native Indianapolis to attend performing-arts high school in Las Vegas and, after graduating, moved to Los Angeles with aspirations of becoming an actor.
While hustling for acting gigs in 2011, he was derailed by a freak sports accident. Fielding grounders for the Flappers Comedy Club softball team, he took a couple balls to the head and throat and woke up with a speech impediment that still afflicts him. Stand-up comedy provided release, as well as an eager audience.
But his biggest break came in 2015, when he came in second place in the 10th season of America’s Got Talent, receiving the rare and prestigious Golden Buzzer courtesy of fellow comedian Howie Mandel. Since then, Lynch has made his condition both a cornerstone and a sideshow of his comedy routines, establishing himself (and a prodigious YouTube presence) and taking his show across the U.S. and Canada.

Drew was super funny and the free meet and greet after the show was awesome. He is super friendly and funny.
Drew is engaging, hilarious and entertaining! He had me in tears and my 14 year old was cackling the whole time!
Parking was easy, wasn’t super crowded, open act was good and main act was awesome! Would definitely see him again
Drew finally performed in Charlotte and he did not disappoint! The material was all new and he really exceeded my expectations. His opener was lame, but that usually happens at comedy shows, and it didn’t detract from Drew’s set at all, as all was forgotten once he started. Quick on his feet and funny interactions with the audience. Can’t wait to see him again!
Drew was good. Wish he could have talked longer. Venue was good. We had good seats. Wish there was more leg room, but I guess that is to be expected.
Drew never disappoints. It was worth every penny to sit in the second row. Great talent!
He came out and went right into what he was there for but the ending was EVERYTHING!!! He may work it into his act from now on🤗…On or Off😂😂😂
Drew Lynch did not disappoint and engaged well with the audience. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening . . .
He really is so funny . Just a natural comedian. His laugh is funny to . Just woke of them people you can just laugh at everything . Really enjoyed
Drew was hilarious. He had his scripted act but our audience was interesting and he was able to adapt and use those situations as entertainment. His opener was great. Also very entertaining and would love to see them both again.
Enjoyed every moment of Drew's show! My friends and I were laughing til we cried. The venue was as beautiful as ever, staff and crew were friendly. To top things off, Drew stayed after for a meet/greet and to take photos. He was just as amazing in person!
Drew isn’t just an off-the-cuff local comedian anymore. Maybe I’m late to the game on this…still, his show (particularly his material and delivery) in Charlotte, NC was on the level of -insert your favorite comedian-. Seriously, this guy is a pro. Get your tickets now while they’re low.
The show was great...we laughed continuously throughout. The meet and greet with Drew after the show was a great surprise!(
Drew and his opening act Justin Foster were extremely funny. My face and belly hurt from laughing through most of the show. My husband never laughs out loud at anything and he was laughing out loud. It was a great show that was unfortunately cut short by a strange/scary occurrence. Drew, clearly shaken but pushed through the incident and the audience was AMAZING showing support with a standing ovation. I hope he will come back to Joliet, IL. We will most definitely be sitting in the audience again….hopefully soon! Thank you Drew!!! I hope you are doing well.
Drew was so great and I would highly recommend seeing him. I know if he comes back to Des Moines we will see him a second time! Thank you Drew, was a great night!
Drew was hilarious and so relatable. He's great at entertaining the crowd at their whim, even when some of the shouts are disrespectful and slightly classless. He knows when to cut them off and when to pull an hour old retort back in. His timing is excellent. I do feel terrible his in ear monitor blew and hurt him. Cannot wait to see him again!
I’ve seen Drew twice now and he is always a great comedian to see!
Opener was ok. Drew was awesome, but unfortunately he had to deal with a drunk patron before he really got into the groove. Once they threw her out it was 100% better.
So funny!!! Will go see him again! Hilarious opening act too!
