Took my son for his 11th Birthday. He has been a fan of HTTYD since reading the first book at the age of 7 and seeing the the movie when it was released in 2010. He was blown away by the live action show, the realistic looking Dragons, the special effects, and storyline...had him on the edge of his seat the entire time! Excellent show! We loved it!
The kids loved the show and the dragons were amazing We really enjoyed it.
Without a doubt this show is visually amazing, but it is missing the grab factor. I never felt captivated by the story or acting. It was almost like the venue was too big for the performers, but the right size for the dragons. It is definitely a fun show for young children.
I only wish I would have gone with the VIP package. The show was great, the presentation was clever and the dragons ROCKED!

Terrific show best seen from the center area of the arena. I haven't previously caught a show that so powerfully enhanced the production with its digital projection. The live characters interacted with the digital and animatronics beautifully. I comes to life. With all the praise, I will still point out that the movie is far superior. I don't think I would have enjoyed this version if I wasn't already familiar with the storyline from the movie. Definitely see this production but already love the movie.
This show is absolutely stunning. All the technology involved to make the dragons move...they look real! We had great seats where you could feel the pyrotechnics when they went off! The story follows the movie really well, and everyone did an amazing job! Can't get over how awesome the dragons looked!
This show was amazing in all aspects...from the costumes to the Dragons themselves...so real looking. We did the most expensive package ticket for VIP treatment etc...well worth the money. You were dressed as a Viking and had photos given to you...the VIP Gift Bag...was great in everything that was in there. The meet and greet with the Stars of the show was only so-so....you were not able to stop and get your photo done with them only pass them by doing High Fives...kinda not right for a Meet and Greet...HERE IS A GREAT IDEA FOR YOUR SHOW.......Have the 2 cast members who are at this silly meet and greet be there when you get your photos taken....it will save time and you should perhaps add a Dragon to the photo as they are the true stars of this show. We really loved this show and hope everyone gets a chance to see it one day.
The 6 of us including two kids, ages 3 and 6 really enjoyed the show. A lovely combination of live, puppetry and film kept us engrossed in the show.
The dragons were absolutely amazing! And so many innovative uses of the space, lighting and projectors.
Took my four and five year old sons for a live show for the first time to see How to train your Dragon. Had seen so many great reviews and was very excited to take them. Had nosebleed seats even though there were plenty of seats in the lower sections that were not shown when I refreshed my ticket selections. My four year old fell asleep after the first ten minutes and my five year old was bored. The dragons were impressive but it just wasn't enough to capture their attention. We left at the intermission.
The dragons looked and acted so lifelike! The technology is impressive.
This is an amazing show! The dragons are so real looking! I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids as the dragons can be a bit scary for them.
Even thou we were up high the show was spectacular. The dragons moved so smoothly. just like they were real

Loved it! I really didn't know what to expect but i could have never imagined seeing anything like that.
We went as a family (no one under 20 years of age) to see how to train your dragon live spectacular and unanimously loved it! It's a true feast for the eyes and an absolutely charming story! We would highly recommend it and encourage viewers of all ages! Go! The dragons are incredible and the technical elements are insane! I assure you will love the production as much as we did!
I would recommend this show. The technology used was very unique and entertained my two sons. They are older but still enjoyed it. The young kids around us were loving it!
This was an amazing show that was completely gorgeous. If it would come back, I would go to this show in a minute!
