About

Drake is hip-hop’s preeminent superstar. In less than a decade, the Canadian rapper has won five Grammy Awards, landed 11 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, and in 2022 became the highest-selling singles artist in the history of the RIAA. Drake’s first three albums — Thank Me Later (2010), Take Care (2011) and Nothing Was the Same (2013) — were all critical successes, showcasing a pioneering sound that mixed catchy R&B hooks with heartfelt lyricism. His fourth album, Views (2016), held atop the Billboard 200 for 13 nonconsecutive weeks, smashing more records — including Drake becoming the most-streamed artist in Spotify history. That same year, he embarked on a co-headlining tour with Future that became the highest-grossing hip-hop tour of all time, grossing over $84 million across 56 dates.

  • Cried my falsies off during Marvin's Room 😭

by ChampagneSobbyXO on 9/10/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Y'all I literally had to reapply my makeup 3 times during this show 😭 When Drake performed Marvin's Room, I was HYPERVENTILATING. My bestie had to fan me with her tour program! The way he made eye contact with our section during 'Call me on my cell phone' sent me to the astral plane. Security probably thought I was having a breakdown but THIS IS JUST MY LOVE FOR DRIZZY 🥺 Take Care era songs had me in a puddle on the floor. Worth every tear 💧

  • Drove 17 hours from Calgary and would do it again!

    by MileageForDrake_YYC on 9/9/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Started my journey at 3am, crossed 2 provinces, survived on gas station coffee, and made it just in time! Drake's energy made every kilometer worth it. When he performed 'Started From The Bottom' I felt that in my SOUL - literally started from Calgary bottom now we here! 😭 The production was next level, but what got me was how he shouted out all the fans who traveled far. My legs are dead from driving but my spirit is ALIVE. Already planning my next road trip for his next tour! 🚗💨

  • Worked security, Drake made my night unforgettable

    by concertvirgin_enlightened on 9/9/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Was working security near the stage when Drake actually fist-bumped me during God's Plan! Even gave me his towel after wiping his forehead. My coworkers were so jealous 😂 Most artists ignore us but he kept acknowledging the security team all night, genuine respect. Best part? He remembered me from the 2019 tour! The whole show was insane but that personal moment made my year. Those stage effects with the flying Ferrari tho 🔥

  • Reluctantly Admitting Drake Has Mastered The Live Experience

by VinylPuristButStreamingDrake on 9/8/25Rating: 5 out of 5

As someone who typically spends evenings analyzing obscure Japanese jazz recordings from the 70s, I must concede that Drake's show was phenomenally executed. The juxtaposition of 'Passion Fruit' into 'Sticky' was borderline genius. Yes, the 808s could've been more nuanced, but his command of crowd dynamics rivals even Bowie's '76 tour. The stage design's negative space spoke volumes. Hate to say it, but this was... perfect.

  • Drake Raises Bar Even Higher Than Prince's '85 Purple Rain T

    by ConcertSage_Since1983 on 9/8/25Rating: 5 out of 5

After 1,000+ concerts spanning 4 decades, I can confidently say Drake's production value is otherworldly. That 360-degree floating stage puts Pink Floyd's Wall to shame. When that 40-foot spider descended during 'God's Plan', I got the same chills I felt watching MJ debut the moonwalk. The man performed for 2.5 hours straight - reminds me of Springsteen's marathon shows in '84. Old school artists, take notes - THIS is how you blend theatrics with raw talent.

  • Reluctantly Admitting Drake Transcended My Pretensions

    by VinylVirtuoso_Elitist on 9/8/25Rating: 5 out of 5

As someone who typically gravitates toward obscure Norwegian jazz fusion, I entered skeptically clutching my vintage Moleskine. But damn, Drake's command of spatial acoustics and crowd dynamics was legitimately impressive. His transitions between 'Nonstop' and 'God's Plan' displayed a masterful understanding of sonic texture. The bass frequencies were perfectly calibrated - my frequency analyzer app confirmed it. Even my collection of rare Japanese pressings couldn't prepare me for this level of showmanship. *adjusts horn-rimmed glasses approvingly*

  • Squad rented a limo & made Drake's show our annual reunion!

by ChampagneSquadGoals on 9/7/25Rating: 5 out of 5

8 of us flew in from different states for our yearly reunion & DRAKE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We pregamed in a stretch limo, made matching 'Certified Lover Squad' shirts, and literally lost our voices screaming every lyric. Some random guy bought our whole section shots when 'Started From The Bottom' dropped! Security even let us dance in the aisle during 'One Dance' 😭 My feet are destroyed from dancing but WHO CARES we're already planning next year's reunion tour stop! IYKYK 🦉✨
