Drag Diva Brunch Live

When the Queens of the Drag Diva Brunch say that their fabulous variety show is "The most fun you'll ever have at brunch," they're not kidding. More than just a drag show, Drag Diva Brunch is part stand-up comedy and part lip-sync revue, with nonstop banter and lots of crowd participation over food, mimosas and Bloody Marys. Every show features an all-star lineup of Queens like Mimi Imfurst, Sutton Fearce, Bev, host Vita Summers and guest stars from RuPaul's Drag Race like Pandora Boxx. An all-ages general admission ticket gets you into the show, plus brunch and your first drink (if you're over 21) and no matter the theme, it promises to be "sometimes naughty, never raunchy and always fun." The cast at the original event at the Punch Line Philly is on stage every Saturday at 11am, so on one week, you could see a Disney Villains show with drag queens Ursula from The Little Mermaid and Cruela Deville from 101 Dalmations, while on the next, it's the "Wannabe" Spice Girls or the Sex and The City drag bunch. And while Drag Diva Brunch has expanded into a number of cities and venues around the country, no matter which venue you have tickets for, there's always bottomless mimosas and chicken and waffles to pair with a wild and flamboyant show that you'll never forget.

Drag Diva Brunch Background

Drag Diva Brunch originally began at Philadelphia's Punch Line Philly comedy club, soon becoming a Saturday morning staple. The show, hosted by drag queen Vita Summers, soon expanded to The Punch Line in Wilmington and now has events in a range of venues around the country like Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco, House of Blues Anaheim, House of Blues Las Vegas, House of Blues Houston and more. The show pairs an all-star cast of drag queens with an engaging show over brunch and drinks. Themes are always changing to encourage multiple visits, and notable ones have included The Golden Girls, Mean Girls, Harry Potter, Spice Girls, Hocus Pocus, Disney Villains, Sex and the City, The Wizard of Oz, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Sister Act.

    Not thrilled with the show.

by Kiwis on 12/3/19House of Blues Dallas presented by Cricket Wireless - Dallas

Was really looking forward to this event. It sounded super fun and i was surprising my family for a special birthday celebration. I expected more professional performances. Not really choreographed routines, just dancing around the room collecting dollar tips. Buffet selections were absolutely horrible. There is no excuse for such poor quality items, especially for that price. Very disappointed in the food. No one in my party of 5 even ate their meal. Save your money

    Drag Divas HILARIOUS and FUN!

by Rose on 11/27/19Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

Best time ever! Audience kept captivated thru song, dance, jokes, but best of all was the interactive participation! Music rockin and tiny bit of risque behavior to make you feel a little bit naughty! Simply put...FUN! Food was soooooo good.

    Grease Drag Queen Show

by A. C. on 11/19/19Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

I was not impressed. It was only a little entertaining. There was so much focus on them getting money that you could not see if there was any talent at all. There were a few Grease songs, but many new trendy music selections. As a Grease lover, I expected more. The food was not very hot, though ok and a relatively nice selection. I expected more performing than squeezing between tables for money. :(

    Dollar Dollar Bills Ya’ll

by H. V. on 11/19/19Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

This is a hustle, not a show. Basically the whole show consists of each lady taking turns dancing around the tables to grab the dollar bills you wave in the air. There is very little “show.” The food is average at best. Save your money and goto a drag bar if you want that experience. With that said I applaud the ladies for their hustle, fabulousness and humor this in not a negative review on them, it’s the structure of this current “show” and venue of the food they serve that I would not recommend!

    Disappointing Experience

by NotadragdivashowFan on 11/13/19Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

This was presented as a Golden Girls event. Nothing about this besides Sophia’s character was anything to do with GG’s. Brunch was pretty good food but the show was basically people dancing around and calling themselves GG characters while expecting audience members to give them money. Very disappointing that zero effort went into satisfying the “Golden Girls” portion of this brunch.

Great Gals with a few Technical Difficulties

by Rebecca on 11/12/19House of Blues Dallas presented by Cricket Wireless - Dallas

The idea of this is amazing and the girls were a gas! But there were a few technical difficulties and for the price I would have liked for it to go a little more smoothly. I think the different themes are great and the entertainment was crazy and fun. I would go again but I think Drag might be a little better at night ;)

    Not what expected

    by A. R. on 11/12/19Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Came for a bachelorette party and expected to see a show with dancing/choreographed dances, but more so just had the performers running around Collecting money. At times it was funny but definitely expected more of a show then lip syncing.

    New experience

by J. M. on 11/6/19Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

Celebrating an out of town friends birthday. Six ladies gathered for brunch. The entertainment was a joyful change of pace. Lively Drag Queens strut to applauding crowd. Attentive staff kept drinks refilled. Tasty food with fresh fruit was quality. Music had most out of their seats singing along.

Had a great time and laughed too many times to count.

    by j. d. on 11/5/19Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Each performer had their own unique style which was very interesting. We arrived early to get great seats but it wasn't necessary. Every seat is a good one because the performers move all though out the room. I would go again.

    DIVAS FUNNY

by What?? on 10/30/19Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

I was disappointed in the show. It was more like table dances. Venue should have had a stage for the Divas and people could have walked up and put money on the stage so everyone could see, as it is the only good place is in the middle of the venue where the hostess microphone is. the venue is pretty and clean but the food was awful....

    Good Experience

by Caseylou on 10/23/19Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

I really enjoyed the show. The drinks were so expensive and the food was SUPER bland. I would go back if I could bring my own food and booze.

    Disappointing

by Michele on 10/22/19Xfinity Room at Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

The venue put little effort in. There clearly wasn't even a mic check, because staff were fixing one of the speakers throughout the first two songs. This meant the audio was horrible. There was a tiny, makeshift stage and no special lighting. Maybe that is why one of the performers seemed to not want to be there. Plus, it was a drag show with 8-10 children under 10 in the audience!

    WAY too much fun!!

by Shelly on 10/17/19Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

What a GREAT time - I definitely recommend Drag Diva Brunch to anyone! Be ready to laugh, sing, and have a delicious meal!

Great show - very entertaining & fun

    by J. G. on 10/15/19Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Venue should have better lighting. When the Divas would go out into the crowd, it was hard to see where they were at times. There should be a spotlight on them. Also, the brunch food was not very good. A BLT is the easiest thing to make. Mine was dry and the bread not toasted. Others at my table had dry salads - no dressing. Other than that - we had a blast.

Show = SPECTACULAR, Service = Terrible

by Kelsey Gall on 9/18/19Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

The show and the performers were amazing and exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, the service I had was terrible. I took over an hour for my table to receive our food and when the food came out my meal did not arrive at the same time as the rest of my party's. I took over an hour and a half for me to receive my food and it did not come as it was described on the menu. The rest of my party finished eating before I even got my food and all I order was a simple egg, cheese and bacon sandwich. When I alerted our waiter that it did not look like what I ordered, he then proceeded to tell me that they ran out of some of the items on the menu. It was a shame that the service was so bad because it affected my experience at the show. And I have been to the Punchline multiple before and never received this awful service. If you are going to include a meal with the ticket to a sold-out show, make sure you are prepared, Thankfully the Drag Queens brought my spirits up so I could have a good time.
