Drag Diva Brunch Live

When the Queens of the Drag Diva Brunch say that their fabulous variety show is "The most fun you'll ever have at brunch," they're not kidding. More than just a drag show, Drag Diva Brunch is part stand-up comedy and part lip-sync revue, with nonstop banter and lots of crowd participation over food, mimosas and Bloody Marys. Every show features an all-star lineup of Queens like Mimi Imfurst, Sutton Fearce, Bev, host Vita Summers and guest stars from RuPaul's Drag Race like Pandora Boxx. An all-ages general admission ticket gets you into the show, plus brunch and your first drink (if you're over 21) and no matter the theme, it promises to be "sometimes naughty, never raunchy and always fun." The cast at the original event at the Punch Line Philly is on stage every Saturday at 11am, so on one week, you could see a Disney Villains show with drag queens Ursula from The Little Mermaid and Cruela Deville from 101 Dalmations, while on the next, it's the "Wannabe" Spice Girls or the Sex and The City drag bunch. And while Drag Diva Brunch has expanded into a number of cities and venues around the country, no matter which venue you have tickets for, there's always bottomless mimosas and chicken and waffles to pair with a wild and flamboyant show that you'll never forget.

Drag Diva Brunch Background

Drag Diva Brunch originally began at Philadelphia's Punch Line Philly comedy club, soon becoming a Saturday morning staple. The show, hosted by drag queen Vita Summers, soon expanded to The Punch Line in Wilmington and now has events in a range of venues around the country like Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco, House of Blues Anaheim, House of Blues Las Vegas, House of Blues Houston and more. The show pairs an all-star cast of drag queens with an engaging show over brunch and drinks. Themes are always changing to encourage multiple visits, and notable ones have included The Golden Girls, Mean Girls, Harry Potter, Spice Girls, Hocus Pocus, Disney Villains, Sex and the City, The Wizard of Oz, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Sister Act.

Decent food with a FABULOUS show! The queens were entertaining, full of character and stunningly beautiful (as all drag queens should be). Definitely a Sunday morning treat!

    Great Show. Quality Production!

by RaRa on 2/21/20Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

I went to the "Whitney Houston"-themed brunch over President's Day Weekend. The place was spacious with ample seating. The quality of the show was great. The performers were amazing. They were engaging with the crowd and the host, Ivy Dripp, was interactive with the crowd. So glad I went and I definitely recommend it for anyone who wants a good drag show while eating on a Sunday.

    Not a typical drag show

by SK on 2/12/20House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

I am all about a drag show but this one was different from all others I have attended. Typically, the drag queens will perform onstage but that was not the case for this show. They basically mingled throughout the crowd so it was hard to watch the whole performance. It seemed as though they were just walking around to collect dollar bills. The drag queens were great but the show was really lacking in performance and confidence. The food was not great and the drink prices were outrageous. They charge $48 for a bottle of Wycliff bubbly, if you don't want to order a mimosa at $10/drink and is 95% orange juice. What a ripoff. The specialty cocktails were not great. I would most likely not attend this event again.

Sex and the city - Drag Diva Brunch

by Rob on 2/11/20House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

Long wait from the time doors opened to show time. Production extremely week - 2 queens were entertaining the other two strolled through crowd and collected undeserved tips. Save your money and go to Hamburger Mary’s!!

    Tips, tips, tips!

by Danielle on 2/4/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Thought it would be more of a group performance. Each member came out individually, sang on the stage for a couple seconds, and then came into the crowd to collect tips. Not impressed.

    Obstructed views

by L. C. on 1/21/20House of Blues Restaurant & Bar - Las Vegas

The divas were very talented, particularly the host. However, we were seated behind a large tree and could not see the majority of the show unless we got out of our seats and walked around the tree.

    "No bad seats, yeah right!"

    by Cait on 1/20/20

I went with three friends to the Brittney drag brunch last Saturday. When we checked in we were told there was no bad seats, that was a total lie. We were seated at a table in the way back in a corner behind several high top tables. We couldn't see anything and the performers barely came back to where we were sitting. A table in front of us actually complained because it was so bad. The performers themselves were ok, but I have been to better free drag events in Vegas and for $45 a ticket I expected more. The best part of the event was the food. I would not pay to go to another one.

    Fun times- late start!

by Nancy Jo on 1/14/20House of Blues Restaurant & Bar - Las Vegas

The Drag show was very fun. It started late- seemed to be some coordination issues. Show was good, food lousy- but they kept the liquor flowing which helped!

    Great venue. Poor performance

by Ali on 1/14/20House of Blues Houston presented by Cricket Wireless - Houston

Absolutely loved the venue. The ambiance, the service and the food were all first rate. While the performers were charming, the entire "show" involved the performers walking through the crowd, collecting dollar bills. Each performer circled the crowd approximately 4 times and lip sync'd while collecting money. That was the mandate. Collect dollar bills. No real stage performance at all. I certainly understand that tipping is important however, it should not form the basis of what is called a "show." Sadly, I cannot recommend this performance. The venue, for sure. The concept, absolutely. The strategy and execution... no way.

    Great talent; buffet so-so

by DirtyMartini903 on 1/14/20The Dome at Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

When you're told to get there early for seating, you're assuming that you get seated in the front. Wrong! They sit you where they sit you. There was no reason for us getting to the Oakdale an hour and a half early! The waitstaff was fantastic. As soon as we were seated, we were served drinks, etc., and all our needs were tended to. Great service! The food ..... well let's just say, there was a great selection and variety of brunch foods. As in most buffets, the food is mass cooked and sits out over burners for a while. So you know your eggs are going to be dry, etc. Now on to the talent. I can't even begin to describe the energy these drag divas put into their performances! I have so much mad respect for what they do. They were interactive with the audience and thoroughly entertained us. We all had a great time and can't wait to see them again!

    Tip driven

by C. on 1/8/20Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

It was a funny show, something different to do, however the acts were completely focused around tips the dances were only a few minutes then they walked around collecting ones to fill the remaining time. It was definitely an amateur show. Food was very bad to top it off

Not as great as the last show

by Kat on 12/24/19Xfinity Room at Toyota Presents Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

The organization of getting into the show was total chaos and needs serious improvement. I feel that with making the space larger it made it tougher for the performers to get around to everyone in a timely fashion during their performance. I enjoyed the previous month more that was held in the Xfinity lounge instead of the GA area. I enjoyed the show overall but it was not a great as the previous month was.
