by Browniemaker on 10/31/11Peter Martin Wege Theatre - Grand Rapids

I bought tickets to see this ballet with my daughter, and was curious how Dracula would be acted out....imagine a scary ballet? I have to say that this production was absolutely amazing...I was hooked from the first scene and would pay to see it again!!!! I loved the vampire girls and Reinfield the bug eating crazy man was a huge hit!!

Amazing, beautiful...artistically captured. Dracula was the best ballet I've seen in a long time.

    Improved with age

by Alwayshappyhour on 10/30/11Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

Saw Dracula the ballet when it premiered 10+ years ago and it's only gotten better. Great sets and great lighting, lush orchestrations with a full pit, terrific special effects (won't ruin what), great costumes and make up, and of course great choreography and dancing and staging. Such a treat to have it back in town for Halloween again

    Spell Binding!

by Evilone65 on 10/30/11Peter Martin Wege Theatre - Grand Rapids

I have never been to a live ballet performance before this one, and I was very sceptical. I was only going to keep my daughter company while she got college credit for going. What I didn't expect was to be totally incompased by the dancing and story of this ballet. I believe I have found a new love of the arts. My children have always been in the music, dance and theatrics but never to this extent. Thank you for a memorable evening and experience.

    Dracula intense, incredible

by pasdedeux1 on 10/30/11Uihlein Hall Marcus Center - Milwaukee

Milwaukee is so lucky to have Michael Pink! What a talent. Dracula grabs you from the first offstage knock and doesn't let go until all the curtain calls are finished. I hope it returns next year. I think I have converted the reluctant and ballet-phobic to give this a try!

    Dracula

by pooits on 10/29/11Peter Martin Wege Theatre - Grand Rapids

Dracula was a lot of fun. I expecially like the 3 Draculettes. the skill of the insect eater and the Texan were awsome. All the characters were talented and a joy to watch.

    Dracula Dragged

by Anonymous on 10/24/11DECC's Symphony Hall - Duluth

The first half disappointed us with its disjointed music and haphazard choreography. After the intermission things got much better. Clean dancing, clear storyline and excellent plot movement. I wish the quality at been consistent. As always lovely costumes.

The 2 main dancers were great, and the second half wasn't bad. The rest was iffy. The acting wasn't very good, it was largely rather anticlimactic and over exaggerated.

    Dracula elegant and haunting

The physicality of the dancers was impressive, the music was fitting, the costumes were dramatic, great idea to have children involved in the intermission - wonderful evening.
