Dove Awards Tickets

The Dove Awards show was a blast! Yeah there were people complaining about the takes and retakes but I know how TV is done and this was just the usual; they were trying to get it right so that Sunday night, when it's aired, it will be perfect. This show will be viewed by non-Christians as well as Christians and we don't want to turn off people who haven't accepted Christ yet with a show that's just so-so or doesn't look as professionally done as all of the other awards shows. We should want everyone who sees the show to be wow'd, wanting to hear more Christian music.

The Dove Awards music ranged from heart-pounding praise, to inspiring, to convicting, to insightful and was quite amazing. The staging for film purposes could have been smoother, but Chandra Pierce was so incredibly flexible, funny, and pointed. We'll go next year, and any other year that the awards are within traveling distance, but next time we'll bring more people with us to share the event!

What an excellent evening! The performances were amazing and despite sitting in the balcony I felt like such a part of the evening! I hope the event comes to Atlanta again next year!!

We spent $125 each for 2 tickets to the DOVE AWARDS to experience live Christian music at its best and we were treated like 'extras' in a movie; we should have been paid to be there to experience the torture of an poorly-planned taping event. I felt sorry for the 'stars', but even more sorry for those of us who wanted to support and hear them perform and be awarded - at least THEY had good seats! The taping of the show was laborious and painful and i will NEVER pay money to sit through that big a of a fiasco again. I should have demanded my money back after an hour when i had seen 2 awards announced, clapped and cheered 25 times for NOTHING and realized the night would not end before the wee hours of the morning. Instead, we left, as did MANY other at 11:30, angry and confused.

Good show but was over entirely too late. Should have started earlier. A lot of the crowd was gone way before the end.

It was an awesome night! Enjoyed the entertainment! Long live Christian music! Great venue! Fun to have the event in Atlanta!

A plethora of who's who in the Christian music business. Brush shoulders with all of your favorite artists! Though the event was long and at times seemed disorganized, it was great fun. All of the artists delivered top-notch performances. Note on the disorganization: The event was being filmed for TV. So, at times, transitions between acts were not smooth due to miscues, set-up needs, and technical difficulties.

This was the worst organized event since at the 3rd grade play my daughter was in. I look forward to seeing tv version but not interested in seeing live again.

We had a great time at the Dove awards. I didn't really expect it to be watching a TV production though. It was long- 4 hours. It was definitely fun and we got to see a lot of great artists. Thank goodness Chandra Pierce was there to entertain us during all of the down time. I hope it comes back to Atlanta, I would definitely go again!

The Dove Awards show was amazing! It was so much fun. I enjoyed all the singing, and was thrilled to see my favorite singers. The comedian was great, too!

I came alone, from another state to see this first and probably once in my life time event. The artists were great. It ran long but I understand why. The venue was lovely. I had the tallest guy in the building in front of me but that's how it goes sometimes. I just started listening to Christian music about 2 years ago. It took several listens before I caught on to the message and the meaning. Hallelujah!

We loved the Dove Awards program. The Lord was honored by the musicians, presenters, and all involved. We especially liked the Adoption feature with the children coming out on stage. One criticism, however - it was too long for a weeknight. We left at 11:30, and it was still going.

All went well..Technical glitches could be reduced and delays addressed.

An unforgettable evening of music, performances, performers and comedians. A great night of people-watching and celebrating Jesus.

A great collection of performances by my favorite artists. The only negative was that since it was being taped for later broadcast, it took almost 4 hours to compile this 2-hour broadcast. While the music was great and the venue (Fox Theater) were great, the pacing of the evening was extremely slow. The comedian, Chonda Pierce, was very funny.

The show was amazing but I was disappointed regarding my seats. I had purchased two tickets for aisle seats in Row J and because there was equipment placed in our seats, we had to accept other seats. The view was ridiculous, the sound system was horrible and the camera crew never focused on our row due to the seats being in a corner. I spoke with the Box Office Manager for some type of compensation because now I must watch the TV broadcast to see and hear what I missed. Tickets costing $221.00 each, I should have been compensated in lieu of excuses. I am a very disappointed patron.

It was a great event to be able to see many of my favorite Christian artists perform and speak. Also being part of the filming was a new experience for me. I might be on TV --Wow ! I was very moved hearing Beth and Steven Curtis Chapman speak about their Adoption Organization named for their daughters. I did not realize until that night that the wonderful Third Day song , "Children of God " was about adoption. It made it even more meaningful to me and moving to see all of the adopted children on stage. That was by far the best part of the show.

An incredible night full of outstanding talent, performances, and a lot of surprises.

The experience of the Dove Awards was absolutely fantastic!!! I was so glad that the event came to Atlanta for the first time ever. The only downside at all was the length of time. Being almost an hour away...the event was not over until VERY LATE and then it was a long drive home. However, the event itself was amazing!
