Fun filled atmosphere of True Enjoyment! A REAL Good Night....
The whole line up was dope For one the GOD MC , Big Daddy Kane ,D Fresh and The Ruler and FaceMob and the first Grammy nominated DJ Jazzy Jeff!!!
Front row seats to an excellent show, who could ask for more. Each performance was to perfection. I recommend everyone to go to the concert if you love Hip-hop, you will not be disappointed! Plus the fact that Doug E doesn't age! Lookin good Sir!
The concert was everything and more than I could have expected.
Went with my hubby, sister and brother and law. We had floor seats and literally danced the entire concert. Big Daddy Kane, Scareface, Rakeem, Doug E. Fresh and the remarkable Jazzy Jeff. I’ve been a fan of Slick since he joined the Get Fresh crew, but I wasn’t a fan of him performing. They brought out Bone Crusher and were throughly entertained!
The performs was lit best ever Dougie still got food was great and drinks were great
from the moment we checked into the concert, until the very last performance with Dougie, fresh, and Slick Rick, the whole concert, and everyone there was wonderful! It was such a great time, seeing everyone, singing and dancing, and sharing the stories on stage before they would drop a verse. DJ Jazzy Jeff was exceptional, Rakim was the highlight for me, Kool Moe Dee gave a wonderful high energy performance, Scarface played some wonderful songs, and shared a great testimony of his life, and just a Music in general, brought me back to a time where life was so simple and being a young person was actually a gift for the 90s and late 80s. I hope to attend something like that again because it truly was a blessing and the staff members were very nice as well. Everyone was so professional and nice thank you Ticketmaster for blessing me with the opportunity to be left my childhood for one night. It was the best.
Great show but HORRIBLE venue! The lineup of performances was great. The venue was horrible - ridiculously priced parking.
Needed more security; needed better sound quality;
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Big Daddy Kane, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Rakim, Scarface, Slick Rick and my all-time favorite Doug E Fresh for the umpteen time. Great line up and fun reminiscing back in time. So much energy and fun as always.
They had good lighting but the sound was very low. Will attend another event here for sure.
Great show! I danced and rapped the whole time. I like that in between sets the DJs entertained us.
Great show and Dougie Fresh and Slick Rick energy was everything. Celebration of 50 years of HipHop. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The bands were great, I did not like the 45.00 parking "VIP" or the long lines for the lawn access even though, I didnt seat there. What is up with the parking increase from 20.00 which was high already.
The hip-hop classic was the best show ever it took me all the way back, and I had a great time!
The special guest was exciting and unexpected!!!!! Love old school hip hop!!!!
We had a fantastic time at the Hip Hop Classic event. I highly recommend the show!
Everything else was great! Scarface was really entertaining, and of course Doug E Fresh was the star of the show. The dude has SO much energy. But I was mostly there to see Slick Rick (he was at the top of my bucket list and I had never seen him live before), and his performance was pretty lackluster. He literally stood there most of the time, and then he just left in the middle of Doug's performance. Didn't say peace out or anything. Just left. I think he did 4 songs maybe. Maybe he was not feeling well?
The only reason my review is not 5 stars is because Rakim sang too many songs, which made the concert longer than it needed to be. Big Daddy Kane, Scarface and Dougie killed it!
One of the best shows Ive ever seen all of my favorites in one show
