Epic night of Funk and Fun. Al Hudson was great followed by Lakeside who took us to the Land of Funk, Midnight Starr blessed us and Con Funk Shun finished the night with the ultimate horn section and soulful vocals. We can’t forget the DJ King and the host of the night Doug E. Fresh energized and entertained us all evening. We jammed all night!! Looking forward to the next one!!
Clowes Hall is known for its fantastic acoustics. Whomever was in charge of the sound MUST have been hard of hearing. The music was SO LOUD that it was impossible to hear or understand the singers. VERY UNSATISFIED
This old school concert was nothing but greatness! To see all these bands, LIVE, that I grew up on listening to, was priceless! They were all live bands, with the original artists, singing and playing their instruments! And mind you, these artists are not "21"anymore, but let me say, they all sounded and looked amazing! And Dougie Fresh-- he was the best MC ever! He kept the audience engaged between sets. He's so humbling and grateful to still be doing what he loves! He was the hype man for all these original artists and their bands! And Dougie was so warming to our city! We needed him! A great concert!❤️
Location was good, clean facility, clean bathrooms, good drinks, comfortable seats, enjoy the show would love to have seen more of Dougie Fresh perform

Time management for acts were not evenly distributed. Acknowledgments that were given mid-show was too long and would have been better served before the acts started to performing. Sound system had several hiccups!!
This was a very enjoyable experience, bringing back fond memories of the music that I grew up on. Let’s have more concerts like this because this is real music.
Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, and Kool Mo Dee showed up and did their thing! They took us back, and everyone was rockin' to their beats! Doug E. Fresh is always on point, and he did his thing, as always. Big Daddy Kane absolutely showed out, though, in a great way! We would definitely love to see them all together again and do it all over. A great show!
This is the third year that we've attended the Dougie Fresh Concert at the Barnes Mable House in Atlanta. Each time, we only get to see a good 15 minutes of Dougie, if that much. He is the main attraction and we'll all round up to see him and the concert is basically over when he comes out. That's not fair, we come to see Dougie...I don't want to come anymore because this is just not right.
