    The Greatest Show Ever

by lomeinL on 9/19/18NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

This show without a doubt in my estimation was the greatest Doo Wop performance ever performed at the NYCB theatre at Westbury. The Hall of Fame performers were all fantastic. Thanks to all that made this show happen.

    Never disappoints.

by Minkie on 5/2/18NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Lou Christie was at the top of his game. His voice gets better every performance. The Vogues sound exactly like their recordings, Gary Lewis is so much fun- remember- he topped The Beatles in '65. The Marcels Blue Moon was a crowd thriller.A fantastic show!!!!!!! And the staff at Westbury remains the most accommodating.

    Doo Wop Extravaganza

by MaryA56 on 5/2/18NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Really did not enjoy this event at all -a total disappointment! Have been to at least 20 events like this, most at The Westbury venue, but this was the worst one ever! The acoustics were not good, not enough backup instruments or voices & the performers themselveves were straining and off tune. It will be a long time before I attend another event such as this! Sad but true.☹️

This was an excellent show. It was especially a pleasure to sing. He doesn't come to the Northeast much and I hope you bring him back again soon.

Nothing to do with the holidays

by Chuck1234567 on 12/13/17NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

The show was good but calling it a "Holiday Extravaganza" is a bit of a misnomer. There wasn't a single Holiday song in the bunch. The only thing Christmas-y about the show was the red and green tape used to secure the microphone cables to the floor. The show was still good but not what I thought I was getting.

    60's music

by amyo725 on 9/20/17NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Every performance was great. It was wonderful to see Dennis Tufano who is so talented but doesn't perform much on the East Coast. Please bring him back again.

The Knockouts continue to "knock your socks off".

by GD68 on 9/20/17NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

The only thing I could criticize was a lack of a program or at the very least a list of The performers. The show attracts mostly seniors with poor memories. They get home and don't remember every one they just enjoyed.

Depress were the hit of the show. Every one loved them. Did new songs. Worth the ticket just for them

    My review.

by Anonymous on 3/15/16NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

The show started on time. The Emil Stuckey (spelling error alert?) was very engaging as the emcee. The Capri's were absent due a medical emergency. The theater offered a refund but I don't think many audience members left. All the acts were very engaging and personable. My favorites were The Duprees and Shirley Alston Reeves and her backup singers. I believe the next show will be in December. I hope they can have different acts perform. This might be problematic due to the ages of the performers.

    True Extravaganza

by lomeinL on 3/15/16NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

My wife and I have been attending these Doo Wop shows for many years, some good, some very good. This latest show was without a doubt in my estimation one of the greatest I've had the good fortune to attend. The line up was great from top to bottom. The Marcels sounded so good it brought tears to my eyes, I felt like is was back in East New York in the 60's. The Shirelles were no less than fantastic, can't say enough about Shirley, her voice is as great as ever. Well how about those Dupreees, never better, they always bring the shown down with their magical voices, can't wait to till the next event.
