    Donny and Marie...fantastic!

by tchrgmc on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

I have been a fan of Donny and Marie since I was a kid. I remember watching their variety shows, buying their albums, posting Donny's photo on my wall! What a thrill it was to actually see their show live. They are true, professional entertainers. They are just so comfortable on stage with each other and also when interacting with the audience. They can still belt out their tunes! I enjoyed listening to the variety of music they put together for this show. I had so much fun!

    FANTASTIC!

by Anonymous on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York City

This was an incredible show! Donny & Marie are multitalented! I loved every minute of this show! It's obvious that these two entertainers have great talent and relate so well to their audience. These two people are the best!!! Although the Tuesday night show was canceled, I'm so glad I got a ticket for the Wednesday matinee. What a fun time!

Donnie & Marie - A Less Than Broadway Christmas

by Stone12156 on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

Normally I would give D & M fives stars for their program and performances. However, on this particular afternoon, I have to rate the show and performance less than what one would usually expect from this brother and sister dynamic duo. First of all the show is billed as a Broadway Christmas. The Chistmas portion was very limited to about four songs total. Truth be known, this was actually the very same show that they have being doing in Las Vegas. We saw them this past May in LV, and the show was phenominal, and there performances were excellent. This was exactly the same show, right down to the costumes, albeit for the few Christmas songs. Donnie was suffering from bronchitis, and therefore was not on his "A" game. He was often unable to hit many of the high notes. Marie, on the other hand, was exceptional, and really stole the show. If you've seen their show in LV, then save your money, and skip this New York performance. Otherwise, by all means, make sure to see their performance. Hopefully, Donnie will be more like his old self.

    Such a disappointment!

by sgy726 on 12/31/10The Marquis Theater - New York

I have been a fan of Donny's since I was 8 years old! (I'm now 51) Imagine how excited I was to receive tickets to see Donny & Marie on Broadway for Christmas this year! I couldn't wait to be there and to hear them perform. The day of the performance, we were hit with a blizzard in the northeast. We had 24 inches of snow (yes, that's right...24 inches!) and winds that measured up to 60 mph! Major highways were closed and public transportation was shut down. There was NO WAY that we would be able to make the 90 minute trip to NYC. After calling the theater, we were told to call back on Tuesday to see if there were any available tickets. Lucky for us, there were! My friend and I happily headed off on a trip to Manhattan, so excited about that evening's show. We arrived at the theater only to find that the show had been canceled (40 minutes before the curtain was scheduled to go up!) because Marie was sick. We were so disappointed and drove back home. The box office staff told us to call back the next day to see if we could exchange our tickets for Thursday. We did and were excited (once again) to be able to see Donny & Marie perform. Thursday arrived and we drove to Manhattan again. We arrived at the box office at 6:30 to pick up our tickets and, so far, everything was OK. We enjoyed a dinner and returned to the theater at 7:45 only to find that the show had been canceled AGAIN! This time Donny was 'sick'!!! What???? Fifteen minutes before the show was supposed to begin??? I find this not only insulting but disrespectful to the many fans who arrived at the theater to learn that the show they had hoped to see was canceled 15 minutes before it was to begin. Yes, I understand that things happen and people get sick, but come on! Who do these two think they are?? The 'right' thing to do would have been to send either Donny or Marie down to the lobby for a short meet & greet...apologize to their fans for disappointing them...a free t-shirt....ANYTHING! other than a note taped to the door of the theater!!! How arrogant and rude! I just think that the way that it was handled was nothing less than insulting. These two divas left the staff at the theater holding the bag, having to face the angry fans who had showed up not once, but twice to see them perform. And...on top of all of this, the merchandise stand remained open!!! So, we can't attend the performance because Donny is 'sick' but we can certainly buy a t-shirt, mug, or poster??? Are you kidding me??? Never again!

Second time I saw it and loved it both times

by TAYLORN on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

Donny wasn't feeling too well, but he was a trooper, and came out and did a great job, only a few times he asked Marie to "take it". So much energy from both of them.......

Donny & Marie put on a great show on Broadway. Even though they were a little under the weather, the show was still amazing! I would definitely see this again!

by normajn on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

This was an absolutely wonderful show. I was hoping Donny would sing Puppy Love and he did and i melted!!! He is still very good looking. Hubby said that Marie was beautiful---she really was but i was more into watching Donny the whole time. It was just a great show. If u get a chance to see Donny and Marie you will enjoy. They still have that sibling rivalry going still.

    Donnie & Marie

by KKKatie on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

The show was fabulous!!! They were so entertaining and funny. Even though Donny was sick and losing his voice he still gave a wonderful performance. Definitely a trooper. They are this generations version of Steve & Edie. Loved every minute of it. Would see them in Las Vegas if the opportunity arose.

    Donny & Marie *Priceless*!!!!

by BronxSouth on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

The Osmonds are ALWAYS on top of their game! They are "entertaining" to say the least. This family truly gives it their all when they perform & I have never been disappointed. They have beautiful voices & the show they put on is worth every cent. I only wish the show was longer, but given how hard they work on stage...that would be impossible!***If you're smart, you will get yourself a ticket to see them somewhere***Be prompt because they are!!!

by BellaRotty1 on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

I dragged my friends to see the show and they were so thrilled by it and so happy that I convinced them to come. We had a great time and Donnie and Marie were just wonderful. I did not want the show to end. They were funny and exciting and I hope they know how much they have touched my life. Great songs and beautiful memories. The flash back to the past were so much fun also! I can say I grew up with them and am proud of it. Stay well my dear friends and keep entertaining us forever! We all love you! You were always nice from way back when and you both continue to be that way. That is a beautiful quality and that is apparent in everything you do!

    Awesome!

by AnaC on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

I had never seen a Donny & Marie show live, and I left in amazement of how great they are. Donny was feeling under the weather but he gave it his all. Marie picked up the slack. The brother/sister rapport is hilarious and I loved the video montages they had... brought back many fond memories. Lucy Arnaz was in the audience, it just added to the magic of the show. They are wonderful performers and made a gloomy snowy day feel magical and bright. I left with a huge smile on my face and humming many a familiar tune. I highly recommend!

Donny and Marie were absolutely fabulous Wednesday afternoon! They are amazingly talented and true professionals. It was wonderful to see them on stage together, harmonizing brilliantly and charming the audience with their adorable banter. My husband and I LOVED the show and hope to someday see them again in Las Vegas. We hope they come back to New Jersey or New York again soon!

    Two Christmas hams

by GKP55 on 12/31/10Marquis Theatre - New York

Yeah, it was a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll. I thought that Donny was sick of having to play old hits like "One Bad Apple", "Go Away Little Girl", and "Puppy Love", but he does it because the audience demands it. I also guess that working is Marie's way of coping with her son's suicide. Both of them have been performing for nearly half a century and they still have great voices (even though Donny had a cold). They also brought clips of them in years past, including Donny's crazy dancing in Weird Al's "White and Nerdy" video.
