Donny & Marie - a Broadway Christmas Tickets

As a Christmas gift, my boyfriend got me tickets to see this show, knowing that I have been a Donny fan since I was a young girl (I am now 48) I cried when I opened the gift on Christmas morning and I cried when Donny and Maire came out on stage! I know, embarrassing but my wonderful boyfriend said it was all worth it so see how happy this made me! Donny and Marie are engaging and thoroughly entertaining. I felt so lucky to be there, as the show had been cancelled the night before due to Marie's illness and the night after our performance, due to Donny's illness. It was quite obvious that Donny wasn't feeling well, as he couldn't get through a few of the "higher" notes, but did I really care and hold that against them or their promoters?? No way! This was a life long dream of mine to see Donny Osmond in person, and it was fulfilled. Of course, meeting him would have been the ultimate. Maybe someday.... Oh and it added to the excitement of the day to have Lucie Arnaz in the audience! The only two celebrities I have ever "idolized" in my entire life - Donny and Lucille Ball - under the same roof! Classic.

This show was beyond fabulous! I enjoyed it so much more than I even thought I would! I was hesitant about going with my husband, I didn't think he would like it much, but he did! And he said he would go again if they come back! That is a TRUE testament to how enjoyable this show was! So very entertaining!!!

It was the blizzard of the year in NYC and still the show went on. As always, both Donny & Marie put on a stellar performance and give their all !!!

Totally enjoyed Donny & Marie at the Marquis. Beautiful theater! They are fantastic show people! They went nonstop! Loved the show, went twice. I only wish they had a meet and greet option. They are legends, would've been nice. Hope they come back next year!

Donny and Marie touched on their past enough to remind of us of the glory days, but the singing and dancing sold us on the present. Topical with an upbeat aura , the show's three sections of the show showcased and soloed the two stars. A smooth backup band wove everything together.

I did not want this show to end! The singing was fantastic. The dancing and costumes even better than fantastic. I was a big Osmond fan growing up so this show was definately a trip down memory lane. Marie looked beautiful and was at her best. They can sing anything and hit every note. The songs included a little of everythig from country to pop to broadway to opera. Donny and Marie are great entertainers and are so in tune to each other. My 13-year old daughter absolutely loved the show too and new most every song. There was never a dull moment! After the show, Donny and Marie graciously and patiently signed autographs and took pictures with the fans!

The show was fantastic! They are both so dynamic and have so much energy. We loved the way they engaged the audience. We hope they come back next year because we will be there.

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the show. Even my daughter, who is nineteen and only knows Donny and Marie because of DWTS, had a smile on her face from start to finish! Donny, ever the professional, had become ill a few days before our show and, even though it was obvious he was under the weather, performed as if it was his first appearance. And Marie....well, what else needs to be said?

Attended 12/29 performance. Beginning of show was good; Donnie was sick and lost his voice during the latter part of the performance which cannot be held against him. However at today's ticket prices, show was not worth it ... it was less than 90 min long without an intermission. We all felt they did not sing enough; lots of joking which was fun, but show should have been longer with more singing and dancing. Marie's voice was beautiful, especially during opera piece. Donnie's voice was good too at beginning of show ... Was this performance cut short because Donnie was not feeling well??

There are not enough expletives to describe what an absolutely WONDERFUL show this was!!!!! Their voices are incredible...their personalities EVEN BETTER!!!!!! Warm...Loving....Talented!!!!!!!! I took my 27 year old daughter with me, who was not exactly thrilled, needless to say...she was VERY IMPRESSED & ENTERTAINED & was honest enough to tell others that they needed to go see it! ... Donny is too Cute & Sweet for words...Marie, despite wardrobe malfunctions, was as Pleasant & Sincere as they come...inspite of the obvious pain she is in! Their interaction with the audience & each other was hysterical!!! God Bless them both & I pray they make this a New York Holiday Tradition!!!!!!

I took my mother to see this show, and we both loved it! I remember them when they had their show together as kids, and the two of them have that silly little sibling bantor between them, what fun! Lots of great flashback photos on the screen while they performed.. I still love those Osmands!

High energy show. Great performances from two very talented people. Loved the interaction between them and the audience. Left the show feeling uplifted. Well worth seeing. Hope they return next year.

The show was so amazing that I wanted to see it again. My daughter who is 8 yrs. old and my Mom who is 83 also loved the show. We could not stop talking about it to everyone we know. Donny and Marie are such great entertainers. They make you feel like you know them personally. I have such great admiration and respect for them. I hope that they will come back and do another Christmas show

My husband refused to go with me to see Donny and Marie when we were in Vegas last August, but after hearing me talk nonstop about how wonderful that show was, he agreed to see them when I told him they were coming to NYC for Christmas. He and I both loved the show. Not only are their voices amazing (even though Donny was struggling with a cold) and their dance moves entertaining, but they come across as people you would like to invite to your home for dinner. I especially liked the Christmas songs, in particular, Donny's Christmas in New York with the accompanying video. With all that Marie has been through this year, she could have withdrawn from the world; instead, she is bringing happiness to new and old fans with her wit, talent, and beautiful personality. When I go back to Vegas, I will go to see them again.

They were AWESOME! before show not really big fans but after seeing both of them on DWTS decided to go and WHAT A SHOW! They did NOT diappoint!!! They did 2 segments together and each did a segment on their own. Alot of interaction with the audience including going off the stage right to the fans! I liked at the end they threw candy canes to us, had confetti and falling snow. I would definitely go see them again!

Donny and Marie, a Broadway Christmas was quite nostalgic for me. It was great to hear their old time hits along with the film clips as well as their more recent performances. Their energy level was amazing and they kept me engaged. It is hard to believe that they have been in show business for 5 decades since they are so young at heart. I have to thank my cousin JM for inviting me to the show. What a great Christmas gift!

The show was fantastic! Donnie and Marie made you feel like you were a part of the show and they got everyone to get into it. The dialog appeared to be spontaneous and they brought the show to what was going on that day! It was a great combination of today's Donnie and Marie and the memories we had as seniors who remember their career from its beginning. It was a very worthwhile show and proof that good, toe-tapping and humorus entertianment can be had from good, clean-cut people who do not need anything in the way of foul language or baudiness to make for a great performance. I'd love to see them make this an annual part of their schedule!

The Donny & Marie Christmas Show was incredible!!! Donny gave 100%, even though he was not feeling well!!! What beautiful voices they both have!!! So much talent to share!!! I would go see this show every Christmas season!!!!!!

Great show--super amount of fun--they are Real entertainers. I was called up on stage which also made this an event to remember forever.
