The concert was awesome. Donavon is a really cool guy
The show was great!!! Can't wait to see Donavon again.
All of the opening bands were really good...Donovan was one of the best shows I've seen at the Pony
Lots of energy and lots of fun. I had a great time!
Honestly the best concert I've ever been to. Donavon was interactive with the crowd and there was just so much soul behind the music. All of the artists before him were great too. Just an overall happy experience. I would recommend to anyone, especially in a small venue such as The Stone Pony.
I came from Tennessee to NYC just to see this show and was not disappointed in Donavon Frankenreiter. Great performer, great music, great venue (get there early to get a seat!), and great bar service made for a spectacular and memorable evening. I took a lot of pictures too. Would definitely go again! LOL...I was the oldest person in the room too!
an amazing show. played all his well know tunes as well as a great cover of tom petty's american girl. he also got a random girl from the audience to sing on stage and she was brilliant. he gave her his hat a a token of thanks..... class act!
Loved the show. He was amazing and brought such a great vibe to nyc. good summer show!
Can't wait to see him again next time he's in town!!!
I've seen him plenty if times and his concerts are amazing I always have a great time listen to him sing ;-) woohoo!!!!
Great concert, loved the music and the venue. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable concert!
The Venue was huge - the turn out was small. Although the turn out was small - the crowd was really into the music.
It was a great way to ring in the New Year. Great sound quality, it rocked.
It was great!! Wished it would have lasted longer..
Perfect way to ring in the new year... Donavon was great as always and had a perfect set, Sugar Ray ...wow so much fun on stage. And Tom Curran sounded great. I was very surpiserd by the talent of Timmy Currans band....they rocked it. And the Garcia Band, those guys rock those guitars. This was a great way to start the new year.
I loved the music and the group playing with him was amazing. Unfortunately there were some real assholes at the concert who ruined the experience for us. A bunch of boys thought it was funny to harass a few girls. It's easy to see the difference from a college boy and a mature guy. Wish some people would grow up.
Probably one of the best shows I have been to in a while. He was so entertaining and loved to get the audiance involved which is always a good time!
Donavon was great, the space was a perfect size not too crowded.
Donavon seems to enjoy playing the Paradise, this is the 2nd time we've seen him there and he does not disappoint. Really enjoyed the new songs and the band balanced the new and old material masterfully. Donavon attended the Celtics game before the show and came out wearing a Lucky the Leprechaun hat and Celts T-shirt. Said he had a blast at the game. Looks like we have us a new Celtics fan. There was plenty of playful banter, especially before Donavon's super souled-down version of American Girl. Its GA at the Paradise and we were able to get into the reserved section in the balcony next to the mixing board as no one was there when the show started. Sports journalist Jackie MacMullan and her small entourage came in a few minutes later but we were allowed to stay--awesome view! And props to the guy in the Bruin's shirt who belted out a great chorus to "It Don't Matter." What a night, what a show--cannot wait to DF comes back around.
Donavon put on a great show... great place to see a shoe
