  • Awesome

by Stephanie on 1/23/24The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

They put on an amazing show each and every time. I can't brag enough about this band. I have traveled about 45 miles away to see them. I try and get close so I can video tape them. John is an awesome singer and the band is awesome. That's why they all sound so great together. Love them all.

  • The Dog's Rock!

by Rothbones on 1/23/24The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

The Dog's of Society once again rocked the house! With an added bonus of inviting a young kid up on stage to dance and sing along during his favorite song. Was magical. John Gore (Elton) absolutely gets it. Very quickly becoming my favorite local musician. Keep these tribute bands coming... better than the real thing!

  • Great Show

I love that they play some deeper cuts. He looks and sounds like Elton.

  • Great show and tickets.

This show was fantastic. Elton John himself would be proud. Can't wait for the next show. I had front row center seats.

The Pageant is a great venue with the dance floor in front of the stage. Show was fantastic.

  • Great Time

Loved everything! Opening act Sweetie and the Toothaches got the crowd jumping. DOS opening with Funeral for a Friend was awesome, and the hits just kept coming. We were a group aged early thirties to mid sixties and we all had a great time!

  • This band was amazing!

The staff was extremely helpful (I'm a first timer), friendly, and everyone smiled! Band was awesome, well worth it and we'll certainly come back!

  • Simply a Great Band

by Barber on 1/10/23The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Enjoyable show from start to finish. This is not an Elton John impersonator. This is a group of talented musicians expertly performing Elton John tunes from his early catalog. No tracks, no emphasis on costumes, and (thank you Dogs) no medleys of greatest hits. It’s great to see a band with this level of talent, stage presence, and comraderie. We now have this band on our watchlist.

  • These Aren't No Dogs of Society - they're really good !

by Bill Havrilka on 1/10/23The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

The band does an excellent job of covering Sir Elton's music which is no easy task. The most enjoyable part of the show is that they take lattitude and dig into some of the Deep Track elements of Elton's catalogue which is incredibly enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next time they are in the area with the hope that I'll get a chance to see them (again) !
