Distant Worlds
by Iccebergg on 12/9/12Akoo Theatre at Rosemont - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5Amazing concert with all the music I love. Video screen presentations were awesome and well choreographed with the music that was playing. New spins on music compositions such as the battle melody and chocobo theme. Cannot wait to go again next year.
Best Decision Ever!
by FistofNight on 12/9/12Akoo Theatre at Rosemont - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5This was the single best concert I've ever been to, both for nostalgic Final Fantasy reasons and the unbelievably talented musicians and singers. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who likes Final Fantasy. Uematsu's presence was an awesome bonus and I can't wait to go to Distant Worlds again. I drove three hours to go to this concert and would gladly drive even longer to see it again.

Awesome Show!
by CMLK on 12/9/12Akoo Theatre at Rosemont - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5This concert was a birthday gift for my daughter and two of her friends. They thought the concert was excellent and would highly recommend it to other anime and music fans.
A must see for Final Fantasy Fans
by gwenavirre on 12/9/12Akoo Theatre at Rosemont - RosemontRating: 5 out of 5We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the pre-show performance as well. The show was incredible and the musical talent is amazing. Seeing Nobou was a treat as well. There were a ton of people there and long lines for everything. The souveneir line has over an hour wait times and everything is very expensive (programs are $15, a coffee mug sells for $20). I'm glad I brought my 3DS with me since I now have all of the puzzle pieces.

Amazing! Must-see. There was everything. Orchestra, Opera, Pop singer-esque (Susan Calloway), Ueamatsu performing live. Arnie Roth is also truly amazing and charming perfect. His live violin performance was incredible, never heard anything so beautiful.
Distant Worlds was out of this world!
by DarthCivicus on 9/19/12Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5The music was such an awesome experience live, even my GF who has never played a Final Fantasy game enjoyed the show! I will absolutely go again when they come back to the Ohio Theater which according to the composer will be possibly next year.
Best event ever
by cat1993 on 9/6/12Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5My 19 year old son went with me to the event and both of us found it engaging and energizing visually and musically. Wish I had bought tickets for my mother and sister as well - it cut across generations and was both classic and new.
Wonderful! My daughter is upset I didn't take her
by chowser51 on 9/4/12Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5Wonderful orchestra. Composer and voice actor in attendance was also a nice touch.
A must for Final Fantasy Fans-Beware Meet n Greet
by virtualdead on 9/4/12Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5The concert was phenomenal. As a FF fan for the greater portion of the last 15 years it was a dream come true after missing Play: A Video Game Concert. Having Nobuo Uematsu and Arny Roth in house was as exciting as the rest of the concert itself. The performance was top notch, the theatre amazing, the selection of pieces well formed and just all around fantastic concert. I drove up from Nashville, TN to attend this concert. However, I felt completely ripped off by the meet and greet ticket. After the concert we stood in line while individuals and small groups made their way to the table to meet them. You're shuffled through politely, without hardly enough time to tell them what you want autographed, let alone ask them any questions. I understand there are HUNDREDS of people to get through the line. But 150 for less than a couple minutes of time?! Had I known what I was getting into, I would have saved myself the cost and bit the bullet on not meeting Nobuo and Arny. The seat you get with a meet and greet is great, save yourself the money and get a normal ticket next to it for half the price or less. If you and your friends are thinking of going and all doing meet and greets. Get 1 meet and greet, but the rest as cheap tickets, go and have 1 person get everything signed.

Awesome arrangements
by WalnutBread on 8/30/12Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5I loved the arrangements they played at this concert. There was an excellent mix of music from all of the Final Fantasy games, though it might have leaned a little heavily on music from Final Fantasy VI (I'm a fan of Final Fantasy VII is the only reason I noticed this) One thing I will say is that when they played "One-Winged Angel" they did not have a full chorus so they had the audience sing the vocal parts. This turned out fine, but I personally felt that it was kind of cheesy. Though it was amazing to so Nobou in person and perform a small part live.
Fantastic experience
by MrSpiffy on 8/30/12Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5What a great concert! You could tell all the other Final Fantasy geeks were having a great time. As I expected, a projection screen was set up behind the orchestra displaying video (mainly in-game movies, but sometimes actual gameplay) as the orchestra gorgeously played popular music from every game in the series. Of course, the encore was One Winged Angel. Amazing seeing it live, especially with all the infectious energy from the audience. I was especially happy that this series used our local symphony orchestra. They handled the music deftly. I hope that this experience encourages gamers to reach out and experience more music with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
