it was a very fun night. my family loved it especially my son. it was our first time watching it at the hollywood bowl. we lived the stage effects & the lighting. tgey sounded exactly tge same as in the movie. altgough i feel like sometimes when they were singing some parts the mic volume couldve been louder. but all in all it was great! will watch it again
Best yet. Been going since 2016. Never disappointed. Love evding. Waiting for Dead Man's Party always. Took 3 Newbies this year they were beyond excited.
Danny Elfman is beyond amazing live, the whole show was beautifully done. Ken Page was spectacular too. And the Oingo Boingo song at the end was icing on the cake. Wish I could give this show 10 out of 5 stars. Hollywood Bowl is my favorite venue, even crowded like it was for Nightmare it is still easy and mellow. Can't wait to come back!!!
Our family traveled from Utah to see this show. We have been Danny Elfman fans for 30+ years and it was amazing. Danny was great and every other part was great. Venue is wonderful.

I really enjoyed my overall experience at this concert. It was my first time seeing this show and at this venue and I really appreciated both. The performers and visuals were really well done, and I appreciated that the concert involved a little more than just the movie. Would highly recommend to bring jackets and a blanket and double check what they do and do not allow inside the bowl. Would go see again.
We had an unbelievably great time!! The staff was very curtious and wanted to make sure everyone had what they needed. Thank you for making our night our so wonderful!

Great show with Elfman, Ken Page and singers. It was a surprisingly entertaining event.
Wow. This show gets better each time I’ve seen it.
I was a NBC fan when it first came out 30 years ago. Back then, you had to wait long time to get movies on VHS. This was before Netflix and the internet. It was the days of renting movies from Blockbuster. (Yes, I am aging myself) my family was ecstatic to finally own the VHS. Being an Danny Elfman fan, everything he is apart of is just magic. Just go ahead and sing me up for whatever he does next ! . Fast forward to 10 years ago, the live movie with full orchestra came to Hollywood ! In the 10 years it's has been playing, I've been three times ! Even though I know the movie by heart, even though I have seen this live production three times ... it's is like experiencing, hearing and watching for the first time ! With castmates passing away, I believe they do their best to give an amazing production! Danny Elfman, I mean come on! He is incredible ! His energy and talent is beyond words. The live orchestra makes the whole experience feel ... alive ! Once the "show"was over and other people around me went to get up and leave I was like no !!!! Wait it's not over. Danny comes out to sing Oogie song and Dead Man's Party. I mean come on .... what a rad experience. Through the whole night the energy and enthusiasm ... never .... never .... ever .... ends . I'm looking forward to next years show!
It was a perfect night. The moon was full, and it felt like fall. The Bowl was decorated for the event, and they had a few candy stations for everyone to enjoy. Tons of fans were dressed for the event. I rented the cushions and they really helped. The Bowl is such an amazing place to see a show. The orchestra was spot on with the movie. Danny and company did not disappoint. We took the shuttle there early, bought food and enjoyed a picnic. The prices were decent. I would definitely go again.
We just went to our first concert at the Hollywood bowl, and the 30th anniversary of Nightmare before Christmas concert was everything and more. Worth flying to California for the concert, but the traffic was typical LA bad! Definitely get the shuttle add on- makes it so much easier to park at a satellite lot.
The show was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend the it. However, the Hollywood Bowl squeeze too many people on one bench. It's a very tight fit, and it's very uncomfortable.
It was awesome me and my friends had a great time will definitely be coming back next year🫶🫶🫶

Clearly Danny Elfman loves this work. It’s amazing to see him and the other live artists add a new dimension to a classic film. Orchestral music enhances the experience and a real treat to see John Mauceri back at the Hollywood Bowl podium. 10 years of seeing at Bowl and it never gets old. Thrilled it returned to the Bowl this year and hope it continues annually.
Danny Elfman, the other actors, the orchestra and Oingo Boingo at the end never disappoint! Love this show!
We had great seats! Fantastic night, we got shuttled there via bus, the best, did not have to worry about parking. My Son and I had the best time at the Hollywood Bowl, thank you.
