Brought my 6 and 7 year old to the theatre and it was a wonderful show! We were all on the edge of our seats! Beautiful scenery, beautiful songs, wonderful cast and some magic to boot. Highly recommend to everyone of all ages!
I brought my 5 yr old niece to watch her fave, Frozen live. I had never seen the movie because I'm not a fan of Disney princess stuff but I forgot how amazing live shows are. We both enjoyed it. It was an amazing production. Little Anna was the best!
After 2 long years, we finally got to take our 8 and 6 year old girls to see this show for the first time. And it was worth the wait! It was fantastic from the actresses and actors to the special effects. We absolutely love it!
The covid protocols at the theatre made the show less than enjoyable. The process to get in with vaccine mandate was slow and difficult. The ushers acted as mask police throughout the show, interrupting and telling my 5 year old daughter to adjust her mask if it slipped below her nose. They didn’t serve any concessions and the water fountains were disabled. My daughter needed a sip of water because she was getting hot with the mask on and the only option would have been to drink out of the bathroom sink.
My five year old daughter was at the edge of her seat the entire show. Most of the cast were understudies, which we didn’t even know until we read the program at home later. Amazing! The singing and special effects were truly spectacular. Wish it wasn’t ending this weekend, so we could come back again!
First time to experience Broadway and it exceeded my and mu daughter’s experience
I purchased these tickets as part of my mother's birthday gift. She really wanted to see Frozen, but I was not really onboard. It was her birthday, and it was all about her. I have never seen the original Frozen so that may have been part of my hesitation. I must say that I left memorized! The special effects were absolutely amazing! The singing and everything in between were great. I was able to follow the story perfectly in the play. I do not regret going. It was one of the best plays I have seen. Disney's live productions never stop amazing me. I loved it! I recommend it for all family types. The little girls of the family will definitely leave with a different love and respect for Frozen.
Disney's Frozen was a memorable experience. The venue worked hard to ensure that patrons were health checked in a reasonable and expeditious manner and continued to wear their masks throughout the show. The show itself was visually stunning and magical. Would highly recommend!
The music, the actors, the sets. Everything was over the top & truly magical! We highly recommend it for any age!
The show was done very well!! The way they transformed the stage for each scene was magical! I was disappointed with the venue due to the decision to not serve any food or drinks. Sitting with a mask on for almost 3 hours and not having a chance to drink water is ridiculous. Not to mention it's fun for the kids to get a snack and a drink, especially during intermission. Similar to being at the movies. The venue did a good job of making sure the masks were up, but I think they could have given people the choice to have something to eat/drink during the intermission.
What a GREAT musical! I was worried that it was going to be almost identical to the movie however there were so many original pieces. They definitely hit all the high points of the movie but made it something new and fresh. We will totally see it again! We brought our 8 and 4 year old along with us and they absolutely loved it!
Took my family of 5– kids ages 6, 9, 11. We had an absolutely incredible time. The show was wonderful. Great acting, music, special effects. They did a particularly great job adapting the film to the stage. There were some new songs that were really great and added to our enjoyment (Hygge!!). It was the first Broadway experience for my younger 2, and we are all hooked! Can’t wait to return!
Taking grands to Frozen at the Cadillac Theater was a big win. The performances, costumes and spectacular special effects created the perfect setting. Each grandchild has an aisle seat so easy viewing.
Very well done. I had tears in my eyes as Elsa sang “Let It Go” just before intermission. So powerful. Anna was wonderful as well, really captured the playfulness of the character while still singing impeccably well. I thought it was so interesting the way they portrayed Olaf- as a puppet but with the puppet handler very visible. He was so great- his facial expressions and inflections were just perfect. And Sven was really impressive too! My 8 year old and I loved it. Now we have one more broadway fan in the house since this was her first show!
Amazing show. Worth every penny! Good for any age.
My wife and I are frequent patrons of Broadway shows in Chicago as well as other musicals in the Chicago area. This production of Frozen was among the best we've seen. Not only were the vocals and acting spot on but the staging, lighting, scenery and special effects were outstanding. I'd highly recommend this production to everyone regardless of your age. You'll leave the theater with a very big smile of your face and singing/humming Let if Go or Do You Want to Build a Snowman. Fantastic entertainment.
Loved the show - staging was beautiful. Staff did a nice job at getting people in the door with pandemic protocols. Impressed that everyone wore their masks. The only negative was that we had orchestra seats on the far left side (row O) and I felt like our view was obstructed a bit even though it wasn’t stated on the ticket.
I think the show itself was good- not bad but not the best. The new songs were great. Do not buy any seats off to the side because you won’t be able to see. I wanted to give three stars because of this. The way the set props are setup unless you buy center seats you literally can’t see what’s going on. That was a huge disappointment, especially when we paid 125.00 for each seat.
Our family of four loved Frozen, it was magical. For my son's first stage show he loves how they were able to add to the original story. He also loved how they creatively fit all the different scenes in that one small space of the stage. The rest of us, even the adults, were amazed and loved the magic and singing.
