    Disappointed

by Dee on 2/16/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

My Grandaughter & I were so excited to see "Princesses". If I had known that they would just be singers in front of the movie clips, I would have NOT purchased tickets at any price. There wasn't 1 "Princess" on stage in the eyes of a little girl. The undertones of the "Father Godfairy- Fairy" were totally not necessary. Little people don't care & neither do the olders. Most people have come to understand and know what "fairy" means. The only costume change was from short dresses into long gowns. No actual "Princess" attire. Needless to say, we were VERY disappointed and & have told our friends to not waste their money or disappointment!

    Disney Princess Concert

by Cynthia on 2/16/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

I just wanted to say that while the music was excellent, I think going into this I expected the concert to be more "kid" friendly. I was totally surprised that the singers did not dress up in costumes as I really expected them to. Also, much of the banter was way over the heads of the children and many looked rather bored during those parts in the concert. I think that it would have been more enjoyable if there was more engagement with audience children.

    Overhyped

    by A. w. on 2/16/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

This was a disappointment. Four women came out and told us about their careers with Disney and sang Disney princess songs while movie clips played behind them. No costumes, no sets, no acting. More effort at being entertained was needed. I feel the production ( which really wasn’t a production) was advertised in a misleading way considering the content. Save your money.

    stage setup bad

by gg on 2/16/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

they should have never sold any of the seats that were off to the sides. you could only see about half the stage due to the way they set it up. luckily there was a no show and we were able to move our daughter closer to center of the seating area. also the smallest shirt size they were selling was a small adult. what the heck!!!! the majority of the crowd were little kids. the show was okay but won't go to another one

    Sub par

    by A. w. on 2/16/22Centennial Hall - Tucson

We were disappointed with the lack of costumes and scenery. Also no acting. This was a presentation of 4 women who have been cast in roles of Disney princesses. They told us their career highlights and sang Disney princess songs. No fanfare. They would show movie clips but that was it. The little girls in the audience wore princess costumes but the featured performers didn’t. Save your money.

    Disappointed

by Daniel on 2/13/22Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

Mislead hundreds of parents showed up with their little princesses all to see and meet Cinderella; Belle and all the Disney characters backstage. Instead multiple parents left in the middle or the show and some of us fathers left to the cars to get our little princess on regular clothes since the actors never even acknowledge all the little girls dressed as princess. My 6 year old daughter was ultimately sad.

It was great beautiful voices. But my daughter and I thought there were going to be more of a dancing and props and the princess on their actual dress . My daughter kept asking when are the princess coming . Same thing happened with my fiends daughters .

    Original Princesses

by Raye on 2/13/22Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

I am a huge Sleeping Beauty fan, but when they only did a small portion of the song Once Upon A Dream, I was disappointed. They did that for the three original princesses like Snow White and Cinderella. I wish the songs were performed at full length. Love the OGs.

    Very cute!

by Elleeeee on 2/13/22Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

The talent displayed by all performers was impeccable! Their voices and harmonies were perfection and energy was great. My 4 year old loved it! Even the songs she didn’t know, she just watched in awe. I only wish costume design was a little more detailed. It was a bit confusing for my daughter at first when someone would sing a song by one princess, then a song by another, still wearing the same outfit. She would say “why is Snow White singing Ariel’s song?” Other than that little issue, I would say the show was excellent. All princesses were so beautiful. Syndee Winters was our favorite! We loved her energy throughout the show.
