We love the movie Coco. Some of the performances were not as strong as others. It was enjoyable but could have been a little more theatrical.
We had such a wonderful time. It was incredible how detailed and beautiful everything was. We loved the variety of performers and the amazing animations.
What a fabulous event! So beautifully produced, so stirring and so wonderful. We didn't want it to end. Both my daughter and my two grandsons, ages 11 and 8 years old, LOVED it and want to see "more movies at the Bowl." Thank you!!!!
It was a magical night and I’m so glad I got to experience this with my 13 year old daughter. Learning about the true meaning of the “ofrenda”, listening to the beautiful music, watching the dancers on stage and the colorful stage and lights was beautiful!! Thank you for bringing the movie to life!!!
Absolutely fantastic! The production value of the entire experience was unexpected and above my expectations. The performers, dancers, projection graphics, lighting, and atmosphere were beautiful and of the utmost quality. I hope this returns to the Bowl again!
Everything about this event was perfect! The performers and lineup of celebrities was fabulous. I took my kids and two grandsons who happen to love Coco and even thought the start time was a bit late for a family movie they sat and watched the entire thing. Since it if fall season they could start earlier since it is dark earlier. The only complaint I have is the Venue. They can't seem to get it together over there as far as parking is concerned and traffic control. It took us over an hour just to get in. They need to plan better for pedestrian crossing and not let people cross a few at a time and instead have them go in groups.
I definitely wasn’t expecting this event to be as fantastic as it was! The musical performances along with the live orchestra were just magical and the audience participation made it even better. Truly I’m unsure if there’s a way to make this event even better but all in all was a job well done.
Itvwas a fantastic evening, my daughter and I had a great time loved the music, mariachi the cuality of movie was great and the best performers present.. and food was great
The entertainment was amazing! The performance from the live orchestra and singers were beyond imaginable! The mariachi divas and the Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles were amazing.
The actual show was really great. You could tell that it was a brand new show as there were some technically difficulties noted throughout the show. But nevertheless is was exciting and full of surprises. The special guests and performers were great and I was impressed how the show really prompted Latin pride. The MAJOR flaw in the show was the venues parking. I’ve been to the Hollywood bowl multiple times and the parking was never this bad. We were an hour late due to sitting on Highland Blvd. for over an hour!! The Hollywood Bowl needs to get it together.
This was my second show at the Bowl in the last few months, one decent seats - one not so decent but not the worst. Both instances were a disappointment; not only are you crammed to the point you can't move your arms without harming your neighbors, but the sound is TERRIBLE! The volume is so low, you can hear people's conversations normal tone conversations. The sound coming from the live orchestra for the COCO show was barely audible at times. People were playing games and watching videos on their phones BUT I couldn't be mad at them because the show was so non-engaging. The ushers behind me also had an ongoing conversation that included a lot of candy wrapper sounds. We were looking forward to the night but were very disappointed.
The live performances were great! It was longer than expected but the music made up for it !
Loved Coco live!! It was so beautiful! I laughed and I cried. Loved the movie, the performances, the location. My only complaint is that traffic to get there on a Friday was horrible and made our shuttle late plus on top of that the lines outside were a disaster. So unorganized out there. Please do something about that.
We arrived at the shuttle stop at the LA Zoo at 7:15pm. We did not arrive to the Hollywood Bowl until 8:45, when the film was halfway over. Very disappointed in the time it took to get to the venue. I saw Star Wars two weeks before, Alain on a Friday, took the shuttle from Pasadena which was even farther, and still made it before the event started.
Awesome show, only downside is the security checkpoint.
There was a lot of people and that was a problem with entering but we arrived just in time and the concert was very spectacular!
My group had an amazing time at the Hollywood Bowl. We parked at the LA Zoo parking lot and got shuttled in. Aside from traffic, we had the best time. They were quick to get us there and quick to get us back. Surrounded by trees the Hollywood Bowl is beautiful at night and you have the perfect spot of the Hollywood sign! We will definitely be back.
This experience was great! My fiancé and I first started off by taking one of their shuttles from LA Zoo to the Hollywood Bowl and I must say it’s well worth it. We got to the show, ordered our snacks ahead of time with the app (popcorn and 2 beers) and sat right down at our seats. The show started and it was everything I’d imagine it’d be. Fun, colorful, beautiful and the singing was great.
