My wife and I bought these tickets months ago to spend a wonderful afternoon with our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren, 6 and 3. We had a spectacular time as the venue and show were both festive and entertaining … and our grandchildren absolutely had the best time! Making great memories !
We had such a great time. My 13 year old son who is autistic absolutely loved it. It was interactive and just all around a great experience. Would go back again.
Disney characters were good. Spider Man and Friends were great! DJ was not the best. VIP experience was not worth the money.
I took my one-year-old and three-year-old sons to the show in Baton Rouge. I called the venue and my one-year-old did not need a ticket, which was nice since he didn't need a seat anyway as he sat on my lap the whole time. We purchased 3 tickets and at $180 I guess I was expecting a little bit more. Lots of empty seats at the venue, so I wouldn't rush to buy tickets. Pros: 1. The length of the show was perfect. Not too long, not too short (could have gone without the 15-minute intermission though) 2. Lots of interactive elements of the show with the audience, they even threw beach balls into the crowd which was fun 3. My son loves Spidey and his amazing friends and that part of the show he really enjoyed Cons: 1. It was REALLY loud. If your child has sensory issues you may want to bring noise-cancelling headphones just in case. 2. The show was a lot going on with no real storyline. My one-year-old was more entertained than my three-year-old. The plot was non-existent, they just switched between shows (Mickey's Club House, Super Kitties, Doc McStuffins and Spidey and his amazing friends) if your kiddo doesn't know most of those shows they will lose interest pretty quickly. Overall, we enjoyed the show, but I am not sure if we would go again for the price. I would say 5 is the age limit for this one as older kids would be pretty bored.
I don’t recommend purchasing tickets through ticket master. We didn’t get to sit where we paid for.
I have twin 3 year old grandsons and the loved every minute of the show; especially Spidey, Spin and Ghost Spider. It was an unforgettable evening.
This show is absolutely incredible, and so magical! It is fun for both kids and adults. The staff really is talented. We have been to Disney on ice and many other shows, but this is by far our favorite. The only thing I would say is to skip the VIP experience and save your money for something else. There’s nothing “VIP” about it. You show up two hours before the show starts and the character meet is over within 30 minutes. The only thing to keep you busy between that and the show is coloring and tattoos that you put on yourself. The one that I went to, the entire group of VIPers left as soon as the character pictures were over. There was no “meet and greet”. You go in a room to take a picture and they kick you out immediately. There’s no time for the kids to actually enjoy the characters which was sad for the kids. We will definitely return for the show!! It really is amazing! Just will skip the VIP next time.
Gimmicky and too loud for the age set, not entertaining in any way for adults. Highly prefer Disney on ice, but one of my kids had fun dancing.
Disappointed in show. Took 3 & 4yr old granddaughters. Only Mickey Minnie & Goofy in show. Probably on stage total 10 min. Last quarter of show was scary for little ones. Felt like show ended quickly. Have never felt this way with any other Disney production I’ve attended.
I paid for the VIP experience. It wasn’t worth it. It was basically a room with tattoos and bowls of water on some tables, crayons on another, plus a DJ. You can do that at home. Second, the character greeting experience was a hurried walk through. Yes, we got to take pictures but there was no room for interaction beyond making the pose and moving on. And the “snacks” and drinks were lackluster as well, but they did hold us over til show time. One single merchandise counter was ridiculous for the amount of people. We ended up in a long line for quite a while with antsy kids. For the actual show - DJ was great and really high energy. They should have more “balloons” because there were lots of sad kids that didn’t get the balloon to come close to them. My kids did not get overly into the show though - I don’t know if it’s because they’ve been to Disney, or what, but they didn’t seem impressed at all, and neither was I. More crowd interaction or bringing some of the dancers down to interact with the kids and encourage them to get up and dance would’ve been great. It was a waste of money for me.
It was ok. Not what zi expected. Mics and amps were way too loud. Hard to understand what was being said. Needed to have more different merchandise to sell,
Best show ever for kids! Great job Disney! Thanks to the Orpheum for allowing the kids to dance in the aisles.
I took two little boys. Ages 5 and 2. The line up was great! However the show was too short. I spent $260 on a show to was barely an hour. I expected a little more. Overall they enjoyed it.
Me and my son went to the show and it was the same show from last year. I think it would been better if it was different this year. But my son still enjoyed because of spidey.
Overall great experience there were on time the kids had a blast no issues with the venue and easy ticket purchasing options. Just wish they had more souvenirs and concessions but overall a great time for family.
It was amazing. My son loved it & was engaged the whole time. Usually by the half show, he gets bored but not with this show. He loved everything about it. And DJ the DJ was great. My son was engaged from the 1st second of the show until the last second. Even my 6 month old had a nice time. The only con was that they ran out of merchandise before half time, which was sad.
My 3 year old loved seeing Mickey Mouse. Adding the intermission made it a bit long for her and having it start at 6 at night was not the best. By the time team Spidey came out she was really tired from dancing, it being late and the long break. They need to add more beach balls and find a way to include all the audience in interactive parts like confetti. Loved the hype DJ at the beginning. A note to parents: When they say everyone stand up they mean the kids. Don't force little kids to stare at the back of an adult. Especially if your kids do not need assistance.
VIP is not worth the money. This should be advertised as a dance show. Felt I wasted a lot of money.
Best part of the show was Spidey. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse part was cute and quite fun, but the Spidey and His Amazing Friends part of the show made it worth it for us. The performers put on an amazing show with flips, spins, and jumps, and my child stared in awe the whole time and was very happy. It would have been great to meet the cast. Show was just long enough to hold my child's attention. Super fun!
