I took my 3 year old son & 4 year old daughter and they both loved it. They sat through the entire show. There was singing and dancing with different characters so it kept them entertained. If your kids watch Disney Jr they’ll know all the special appearance guests. I am happy that I decided to take the kids to this show.
The show was entertaining! We were a little disappointed that PJ Masks and Lion Guard were not represented as they are currently airing frequently on Disney Jr. The show seemed to favor the girls’ interests with all the princesses and female leads. Sadly I didn’t see much of the show because I had a line-backer, sized dude sitting in front of me and his 4 year old daughter either on her knees or standing on his lap the entire time. Totally inconsiderate. It was difficult to see past a 2-headed person in front of me. I could hear the show. However, in all, my 2-year old loved it and that’s all that matters. We would go back to experience the show again!
We had the best time!! The music and energy was fantastic!! The performers and songs were upbeat and so much fun. We happen to celebrate Hanukkah and knew this may be more of a Christmas show, but my son was more excited for the Disney Jr. characters. We were pleasantly surprised when Puppy Dog Pals did the two Hanukkah songs!! Best night ever!!
I was sorely disappointed with this show, my first Disney show. It was catered to girls with with 75% of the characters being from the girl shows.
The Holiday stage party was ok. The VIP party wasn’t worth the time. Santa was a 25 year old Disney Stage actor and left my grandson wondering about Santa. There were no ‘games’ as promised. It was another one of the stage actors dancing and getting the kids moving. There were balloons- not enough, pizza and cookies for the snack- Pizza was very well done, and high top cocktail tables- but they were children and couldn’t use them! Save your money and just do the show. It was fun and interactive enough for the kids. Although, be prepared, it didn’t start on time. :(
This was the perfect holiday show for our 2 yr. old granddaughter! She loved it and we enjoyed watching her having so much fun. The actors and show were great and age appropriate for young children. You definitely will have a wonderful time!
Location was extremely difficult to find your seat. Show itself wasn’t bad but don’t feel it was worth the money spent.
This was a surprise for my 7 year old and he was ecstatic about the show when we sat down. He said this was the best surprise ever!!!
Our kids really enjoyed the show. I think it was well done. It would have been nice to tie in more of Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, Minnie. It was more catered to the princesses and is great for the little girls however with boys they do not watch those cartoons so lost interest a bit during those parts.
It was nice. Easy to get into theater. My son enjoyed the show he sang and danced.
My 1 year old grandson's 1st Disney show. He loved it! I didn't give 5 stars only because it is pretty ridiculous to have to buy a full price ticket for a 1 year old to sit on my lap.
I got the VIP Package for 3 people. I suppose my expectations were high. I feel like they could have taken 3 pictures with Santa instead of 1. He was excicted to meet Mikey & Minnie. The kids danced to the music they were playing at the Pre-Party. However my 2 year old nephew had fun and thats all that matters. We sat up front, he sang songs and was smiling the entire show. So great production.
Only reason this was given 4 stars is because the venue in horrible. Terrible location to get to and not the best for a kids show. Recommend changing the location
The show was great. Disney always puts on a good show, but the theater was no way equipped to handle a show like this. The tickets were pricy and in no way reflected the experience. The seats were fold out seats that had tape on them and seat numbers written on them, which were obviously used for different locations since there were old seat numbers still attached to the fold out chairs which caused confusion. The show started at 4 on time but most of the crowd were stuck trying to get inside since there was no real order to get in and a swarm of congestion and confusion. So there were a lot of people still getting to their seats as show was going on of course blocking the view of the stage. Finally we get to our seats (with no help since the one person on the floor working was carrying out more fold out chairs due to a same seat ticket issue) and it was pretty much a free for all. Which I get to an extent since it’s Mickeys Dance Party and kids get up to dance but even at the best part of the show, the big finale, a woman walks right up the center aisle from all the way in the back and stands directly in front of the stage taking pictures and video literally blocking the view of everyone in front. The employees, which I barely saw, never corrected or said anything to anyone at all. Nothing was under control and it was not a good experience. I’m sure this venue would be great for standing room concerts but definitely not for Disney Events like this. I wish I could get my money back!
I took my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to her first show and I picked this Disney show. She didn’t know all the characters but she was happy to see Minnie , Mickey, Goofy, princess Elena and her favorite Santa Claus 🎅!!! Great show we really enjoyed it .
We couldn’t make out the words of the hosts and it seemed that they were screaming
Definitely did not meet up to our expectations. Major characters were on the big screen.. not live. We could have watched tv for free.
My 3 year old have a wonderful time. She loved the characters. She had a blast at the Pre show with the two ladies !! We enjoyed it immensely
We loved this show. Our son had so much fun! We’d definitely go again!
Disney Jr Holiday Party was amazing!!! My granddaughter loved it!! It was so much fun watching her excitement. I can't wait to see it again with her. I hope Disney Jr comes back to Oakdale again next year!!
