About
Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

Great Show, VIP seating was questionable
by Wicked Wylee on 8/7/23Rating: 5 out of 5So i bought two Platinum VIP seats. Pretty sure I remember Meet and Greet being included. Tix were a birthday present for my daughter. Waited for an email with VIP instructions. Come to find out 200/ ticket was only for the seating, no meet n greet, no merch, no early entry, no VIP access to anything. So The Dirty Heads, Lupe Fiasco and Bikini Trill were all most excellent, Live Nation's descriptive verbiage of the packages was really poor and left me frustrated.

This my favorite group and I will definitely see them perform next year. They stay true to their mission of positive vibes and infectious beats.
Dirty Heads at Firefly

Live Nation advertised this event start time at 6pm. The venue opened much earlier, and started the show before 5pm. We missed two of the bands we were very much looking forward to seeing. That was disappointing, but the remainder of the show was fantastic.
Venue was terrible!

A muddy field, No seating, No chairs of your own allowed, looked like a makeshift stage, No Bathrooms only port a potties. Didn't enjoy concert like I wanted to because of Venue circumstances. An amphitheater would be a great investment for this city!

by MN on 8/2/23Rating: 4 out of 5So much to say. - Concert was great, DH rocked and the openers were excellent - No problems with purchasing tickets - The problems related to ambiguity on the venue’s side when it comes to VIP. Venue apparently has a VIP that is not included with VIP tickets which has inside access, bathrooms, etc. - Coordination between venue and Ticketmaster needs to be stronger to let buyers know what is and isn’t included.
