About
Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

by rosa74 on 8/1/13The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5They put on a great show, my kids and I saw them before at The KROQ Weenie Roast and liked them since then but it was great seeing them by themselves. Would definitely see them again.

3 great bands
by Pnutlove on 7/31/13The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5Spectacular concert, packed house and everybody having a great time, Of course, Dirty Heads killed it, lots of energy, and The Expendables were great, but was really impressed with Common Sense, a local band that has been playing for 20 plus years, and they still bring it to every show. There were some fans that were familiar with the band, but by end of their show, they had the entire stadium on their feet.
Dirty heads were amazing!
by Erika21 on 7/31/13The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5I wasn't really sure what to expect since I've never seen them before. But the show was great! Better than I expected! I also really enjoyed the opening band,Commn Sense! So much fun and their music was amazing! I would definitely go see both bands again!

Awesome concert! Good venue, good seats at a great price, and an awesome group of people.
The Dirty Heads were awesome!
by JWbaby on 7/31/13The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5They were so appreciative of their home-town crowd which came out to support them on a Sunday night. Their guitarist had just recently broken his foot, but rather than cancel the show and disappoint fans, he played, (incredibly I might add) while seated. The only complaint I had with the show was with the sound engineers. Midway through one of their songs, someone screwed up big time and killed the sound coming out of the speakers. It took them several minutes to figure out what hey did and fix the problem. The band however, played on like real pros. Loved them!
Super Fun!
by schmatiepoppins on 7/31/13The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 4 out of 5We had a great time. Effortless and fun. Good crowd too. We were late... bummed that we missed Common Sense. I love Nick I!

Common sense was amazing, The Expendables kind of phoned it in, and The Dirty Heads brought their A game. Mad respect to Duddy B for giving it his all even with a busted foot. That was nice.
dirty heads rocked it!!
by kristinewhitebird on 7/31/13The Pacific Amphitheatre - Costa MesaRating: 5 out of 5the dirty heads were so much better than I expected. it was my first concert seeing them and I enjoyed every single song they played. they are super talented and would see them again in a heartbeat.

Dirty Heads were unreal! The vibe throughout the concert was great and the performance it self was exactly what I wanted to hear. They're fun, upbeat, and just want to have a good time at their concert and want their audience to enjoy it as well. It did get a little cold, but it was worth sitting in the cold for them!

What a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday night. Loved the show and was happy to celebrate in the bands biggest selling show!
