About

Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

  • Amazing show. And a beautiful venue

by Chadelicious on 7/9/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Recently revamped and it's awesome. Great view from anywhere, decent lines for products (merch, and beverages) would like a few more food options but thats understandable. Great place to watch a show.

  • I didn't understand how my drink had more with my chair.

Just wasn't my cup of Tea. The band wasn't the same Energy you see online.

  • Truly an experience

by Paradise on 7/3/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic! Amazing! Perfect! Mind Blowing! Everything I hope for and so much more! Ive waited 10 years to see Dirty Heads. Bought tickets so many time and life always got in the way. This time I made sure I was gonna be there. Took an extra day off work just incase, had UBER on speed dial just incase I had car touble, and got VIP so I could be front row. Honestly so happy! Was a first but not my last.. won't miss any future shows in Colorado

  • Met them - Well worth the time

by LBreezy on 7/2/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Met the band. Got smiles. Very down to Earth and we felt like they were glad to see us. Performances from start to finish with all bands were very good and well worth the time and money. Recommend.

  • Security was good.

by Dave on 7/2/23Rating: 2 out of 5

The venue was okay, nothing to write home about. The vendors were way too expensive. Security was excellent. Sound quality sucked real bad.

The venue is always great, I have been many times and love it.

  • Bass on sound check

by Ian on 6/27/23The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 3 out of 5

Dirty heads put on an amazing show as headliners. Good long set, ton of energy, played all of my favorite songs, musicians killed it. The first four or so songs, the bass was cranked way too loud. It completely drowned everything else out. It eventually got fixed and after that the sound was great.

  • Daughters first concert

by Rachael on 6/27/23The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

The whole concert was amazing from Tropidelic to Dirty Heads! We took our daughter for her first concert. She had a great time. She loves their music. The venue was awesome too. Everything sounded terrific.

  • Dirty Heads Rocked It

by Kim on 6/27/23The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

This is a really good venue. I enjoy it alot. The only complaint i have is the food could be improved upon. For the price being charged, the food should be better! I am a diehard Dirty Heads fan and enjoyed their show soooooo much! Can’t wait for their next one!!

  • Freaking fantastic!

by Franny on 6/27/23The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

Dirty Heads was fantastic! Such a chill atmosphere and the performance was awesome! They are great live! The opening bands were great too!

  • Great show, weird rules

by Novak on 6/27/23The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 4 out of 5

Dirty Heads were amazing. The security at Toyota Music Factory/ rules from Live Nation really put a damper on the evening though. Somehow $275 Meet and Greet back stage tickets didn't get pit? VIP access, that was an extra $100 a ticket, and there was no re-entry, so if you wanted to do meet and greet, you had to stay in the building for hours before the opening act even came on.

  • Great time!

by Bmel on 6/27/23The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory - IrvingRating: 5 out of 5

From the openers to Dirty Heads, all were great and entertaining. LOVED the venue and walking distance to restaurants. Will definitely come back!
