  • Underwhelmed

by Lia on 4/4/23House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoRating: 3 out of 5

I've seen Dirt Monkey several times before, loving all previous sets he's done because I know he is capable of some filthy bass. This show was far from bass music though, and did not match anything he has previously done. Just did not slap as hard as I was expecting. He probably played dubstep for 5min total. All other beats/songs were kind of generic party/club vibes and it wasn't too impressive. I refuse to write him off though I think he has the bass potential there but thinking maybe it was the venue? Not sure.

  • Djs were dope but was sabotaged by sound system

by Ayare on 4/3/23Echoplex - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

The sound system needs an upgrade. This type of music needs booming bass that you can fill in your soul and Crisp clear sound. So all in all the DJs were dope, especially Jantsen but due to sound system it was dull

  • Stellar Show

by Luvwubsnjulez on 4/3/23Echoplex - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Easy parking, short bathroom and bar lines. Great sized venue filled with an awesome crowd. Sounds were great. Stage fit two artists and their necessities and even had room for some crowd members at the end of the night. The only thing missing was lasers and visuals.

  • Venue production was weak

by Sasha on 4/3/23Echoplex - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

Venue production was weak... Just a black curtain and a set of lights. No visual screen or any other kind of production. I was expecting more. I did not even know which artist was on when I arrived because there is no signage or screen on the stage. Music / sound wise was fine.

  • Boogie

  • Great show, venue & sound

  • Amazing music - terrible venue

by Steve on 10/31/21Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 1 out of 5

This venue was one of the worst I’ve ever been too. The security was aggressive and invasive, the entry protocol was over the top and almost to the point where I was going to leave. I have never seen anything like it honestly. I go to concerts every month and I will not be going back to this venue. Dirt Monkey did a great show though. I feel sorry for him having to play at such a terrible location.
